Surprised how arrogant and confident Bucks fans become. If one good season can do that then imagine if they take over the East... time to put that to bed already and begin the Giannis leaving rumours.

Also - if there is anything positive that we can take out of our mediocre regular season, it's the fact that there isn't much tape on our squad playing well. Might only be 2-3 games all year where the team has played to its potential. Coach Bud is good, but it's going to be tough to gameplan for the Cs when the only tape he has is when the team stinks.

This team enjoys being the underdog. We all saw what happened when the team played Golden State and the whole league thought we were going to get slaughtered in Oakland. Same thing for this series - everyone is anointing Giannis as the new king already. These Celtics will not bend the knee.

I also have tickets for Saturday night to see endgame...they will be refunded if celts are on at the same time with the quickness. That being said I would be shocked if they put us on Saturday night. This has a Sunday main event game on abc written all over it

I like the joke, but outside of Harden and Giannis, I don't even think LBJ travels as much... People talking about skill, I mean he bullies people, that's his skill. At the same age LBJ had a legit jump shot... I can't say the same about Giannis. The league will and is pushing him hard to be the next face of the NBA, so I expect this to be a massacre meaning the refs will blow the whistle in Bucks' favor a TON. That's literally my biggest concern. I expect many players to be in foul trouble.
Good assessment:

Not to be a downer, but Giannis can do this:

"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

It's all around the basket. Yes I said he's an athlete, he's on of a kind athlete, very long, and quick for his size, strong as a bull. Honestly as I wrote before not my type of b-ball player. I dunno how many travels, offensive fouls he'd have if the game is called by pure basketball rules. I'd say 3-4 offensive fouls and 4-5 travels a game.

yeah but if Victor oladipo does not get hurt at midseason you guys are a 5 seed & Indiana likely beats you. I'm not really a fan of one particular team in the NBA but I'm just not impressed with you guys this year. Sorry.

The apology at the end of the post is just a dead giveaway that this dude is Canadian, and is likely a Raptor fan. Nice of you to chime in on a Celtic forum, in a gamethread against the Bucks.

I don't think so, he's **** on the Raps in our fourm too. Sounds like a Sixers fan because he's obsessed with Ben Simmons.

Dude should worry about his own team getting smacked then. I have Raps in 5 in that series.

Hope so dude. I also think the Celtics will prevail against the Bucks, playoff experience will make a big difference here. Would be a fun ECF.

I respect the kind words, but we all know why you're all " I hope the Celtics win, you guys got this" , cause you think we're an easier matchup than the Bucks... :D 8-)

Celtics opened +230 to win the Bucks series. That's not far from where they were last year against Philly (+320) and look how that ended :o

Revamped roster? Ya’ll added **** Brook Lopez and a couple of bench bigs.
Net Rating? They were super elite, with a top 5 ORTG and DRTG which generally begets championship contention.

Fan bases do this every year— they overhype minor additions as an indication that things are fundamentally different. Two things that were actually meaningful changed for the Bucks: they got a competent coach and Giannis developed into the MVP. One of those really matters, the other only kind of does [especially given his history of spectacular failure in the playoffs].

Ya’ll Bucks fans sound like Missandei with the way you continuously tout your accomplishments. Get over yourselves.

-Tor did not completely change their scheme remotely close to as much as MIL. Mil's change was equivalent to Dantoni replacing McHale or McVeigh replacing Fisher with the Rams. You can try to pretend like it isn't the case but it doesn't make it true.

-George Hill and Connoughton are both Bench bigs? Mirotic is a starter on many teams in the league. Brown and Wilson have also turned in to viable players this this.

-TOR had a very good year. The Bucks have had a Historic year. As a comparison in the NFL, the Rams this year were very good, but they were not a historically dominant team that rolled through the Season like the 99 Rams.

-Bud for all of his spectacular failures has advanced as far as the Coach for BOS in the playoffs..... Maybe Bud losing in ATL shows there is a limit to a team that has to rely on Horford to be a key player.... If Bud was a failure in the playoffs then that means Horford was too right??

-If other teams have gone from a 7 Seed to a Historic team within a year then I will look at the comparison. I know TOR has never done that so that comparison fails.
