I do think for the Raptors AND DeRozan the trade helped. I think DeRozan has played better in the playoffs with Popovich as the coach.

The biggest thing that has helped is not having Casey run players into the ground during the regular season, and then not having anything coming into the playoffs. I was so goddamn tired of players peaking in the regular season. I feel bad for Pistons fans because they went through what we did for years, and if they don't get rid of him then they'll suffer through this until they do. Even outside of Blake, every single one of their players underperformed besides Kennard.

Respect for Orlando, they played hard and gave the Raps a healthy wake-up call in game 1. Orlando needs a floor general in a big way to make the pieces work. DJ did his best but not the guy Orlando needs at the point.
