Just like Antony Davis.

I suppose I did walk right into that.

But I will say that unlike Cousins, Davis has been to the playoffs, won a round and been in the MVP discussion. Cousins has never approached that.

Well, Cousins should have been to the playoffs with AD last season without his injury. He averaged 25.2pts/ 12.9rbs/ 5.4 asts/ 1.6 stl/ 1.6 blk. Pretty good if you ask me...

DeMarcus is a 25/10 guy for most of his career. In 2014-15, he should have been in the MVP discussion. But his team was just terrible, and nobody wants to see an MVP from a terrible team.

I can understand why people don't like Cousins. But don't underestimate his talents. He should have stayed in NO this season, him and AD were a perfect duo.
AD hasn't lead his team very far and now is acting like a jerk. Let's see what will happen this summer.

No lie, and yes this is EXTREMELY off topic. But **** Punisher on Netflix is sooooooooo much better than it has any right to be!

I've even been telling my coworkers about it but I don't think any of them have given it a shot haha

It is a tremendous show. Not perfect and it has its “oh really” moments, but it is pretty well done and the best Punisher ever.

Only here for the NBA news, like Westbrook taking a hundred shots and making four of them, but there should be no insults to Lundgren.

Westbrook was actually 5 for 21, so his shooting percentage problem is bad but not as big as his attitude problem.

When Raymond Felton started swishing all his shots, the game was a lot of fun.

Only one tied series? Nobody is paying any attention to Nuggets-Spurs anyway? Denver did find the secret to win games, tell the little players to not take so many shots and to have their big, and efficient,c enter take more shots.

Go Detroit.

Mr. Drummond can't play as badly as he did last game. Lopez and Ilyasova might miss a few threes compared to last game. Blake could get them a win at home, which may help Boston.

Sucks so bad. I'm a big Cousins guy. He's not perfect, but i love him. Think he's incredibly misread.

Ooft didn't know all that had happened- I'm a big Cousins fan too, really wanted him on the Celtics before. Shame to see him go down with another severe injury like this

Third as a big Cousins guy. Thought pre injury he was one of the few MVP level best player you can win a ring with type players.

Yeah, so easy to win a ring when you can't **** win a single playoff series. Or make the playoffs at all. MVP, right. Lol.

Yeah not understanding my point at all. So easy to read.

Obviously teams win rings truth thank you not individual players, thank you. I don't have the same perspective on it as a Kobe or Irving.

Teams & writer storylines also mainly win MVPs or LeBron would have about 10 MVPs by now.

You seem to be misunderstanding me as well. Cousins sucks and was never wining anything with anyone. Fake MVPs like Rose still make the **** playoffs. Once.

Well if your argument is as simplistic as "rings lol" then he will win one ring this year. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But I forget who it was that I replied to, there's no reason to go down this road. I will cite stats and you will stay stats don't matter. There is no proving it one way or another, and Cousins is broken and likely will never again be half the player he was when I considered him good enough to be the best player on a team that wins a ring.

I also totally agree Rose never deserved to be an MVP, he like Nash's MVP years were just good storylines for the media and they gave them the MVP over much more deserving candidates.

Why is that a bad look? I mean Casey did exactly with them what he did with DET.

idk I think it's fine. Fans can be fans and take pleasure in the pain of people who are no longer on their team.

Unless it was like... a life long player or something that lead them as far as they can but left to win a ring in the final years of his prime. Kind of the Ray Borqure, Antoine Walker styled thing.

Where did I mention rings?

Cousins not making the playoffs once with the Kings is the only stat I need. Dude is literally a loser. AD did it.

It was me [Punisher comment]. Not gonna dive too far back into this because like you I don't think it's a debate worth getting riled up about. DMC is a hell of a productive player and he's obviously talented. My only thing is that the MVP discussion is usually reserved to those players that are able to elevate their team overall higher than they might normally be. That's a bit of a connotative, subjective implication than anything else but I think that's what separates the MVPs from the guys that just put up MVP-level numbers. In the future I would like to see him take the defensive end and his conditioning a little more seriously and the refs a little less.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

I think though it's also important to note he has a ruptured achilles which is a career changer and he's a massive human so he more than the others should struggle to recover from it.

It's unrealistic to think he'll ever be as good as he was again. Him still being an all-star would be a feat of nature.
