What does this even mean?

He's obsessed with suits, so he prefers the Bruin's style. Nothing racist about it, and frankly, I find it kind of baffling that people are labeling it as racism. He's definitely an old SOB though, and he annoys me with a lot of his takes.

Hockey = culture is to wear suits walking in
Basketball = Iverson culture turned it into the suit rule which is no longer enforced as long as you look "put together" or "stylish"

Old man compares the suit vs. style culture, which happens to also have a big statistical difference in races played by the sports/styles in question.

People infer racism (when there may be some) but it wasn't a blatant comment on race - a lot of the time, the dude is so hold he can't even finish a sentence, so you don't know exactly what he was trying to say/think anyway

Still can't believe we actually lost a game to this treadmill team still is embarrassing should've been
first ever Raps in 4

In hindsight, seems kinda obvious that if the magic were going to steal a game, their best chance was in game 1 while the Raps were still fumbling with the clutch to change into their playoff gear.

They hit everything from deep, their scrub PG went off, our all-star PG laid an egg, we couldn't shoot worth a damn and despite all that, we lost by one shot.

Whatever -- happens to lots of good teams and may have been the wake-up call the team needed in a much more poignant way than any coach's speech could ever deliver.

Since then the Raps absolutely imposed their will on the magic all series like a championship team should against a lower seed.

I'll take it and leave this series satisfied that this raps team is for real.

Does anybody not see that the Magic were a pretty damn good team and that the Raptors dominance was truly impressive?? The Magic finished the season hot and in my view presented the most challenge for the 1st round opponent. I would've easily taken the Pacers, Pistons, or Nets over the Magic before the series started - the Magic gave a lot of good teams issues toward the end of the regular season.

They were a good team. We are much better.

Gasol, Siakam, Leonard, Green, Lowry

As well as the magic were playing, the Raptors were clearly the superior team no matter how you slice it.

Playoffs and individual matchups for a series are completely different then the regular season...

The Magic don't have anybody that commands a double team they're not a good 3 point shooting team and
they have a pathetic bench. In the playoffs you need a guy or guys who can take over a game. The Magics
"starting backcourt" is Augustin and Fournier.

What they do well is play great D and have great size and are well coached. I come away from this series thinking
if I'd even want any (many) of their players on our roster.

What's even more crazy is they were up at one point 57-41 in Game 1 maybe even more. But it seems that loss
in Game 1 was the final wakeup call to the Raps and they finally got into the next gear we've been waiting to see
all season.

Make no mistake about it the playoffs are a completely different animal and that Magic roster is completely flawed
and going absolutely nowhere. I don't know what their cap situation is like going forward but they're out of the lottery now
and it's treadmill city.

What's most impressive is not that the Raps were able to easily shutdown that pathetic offense but that Kawhi and Siakam
were able to shred their good defense on high volume with great efficiency.
