Is it fitting that it comes down to Manure to gift us the title??

Could I ever recover emotionally if Manure beats them, and we go and draw our last game? Seems like that would be typical Reds. Someday we'll break the curse. Feel like it won't be this year, sadly.

Klopp built a good enough team. No doubt. Total props to the guy. You all know I've been hard on the guy, and how I think he approaches the "lower teams" half-heartedly. I think the # of draws against so-so teams the last few years certainly gives a LITTLE credence to my opinion. We had a couple avoidable draws this year.....but I understand your gonna have a few. 7-draws and 1 loss gets you the title most years. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of the 'super-team' era. We'd prob have hoisted several by now, had it not been for Chel$ea and Man$ity. That said....Leicester did it....so no crying from me. We gotta do better.

I can't ask for more out of Klopp. He built a team that can do it. We just gotta play like this more consistently....and get that little bit of luck.

Everton embarrassing United to the point that they're forced to have a reaction v City. Barclays is all about narrative. This is the narrative to end all narratives.

Well crap on Manure. Way to suck.

Oh well.....3 games left. We gotta win our games, and pray for a miracle.

I can live with giving up 3 goals. (Although it seemed like there was a strong possibility we could have kept them 1-0.)

But to walk away with 0 away goals given our chances is so disheartening. Ugh...

Oh god...don't remind me.

I feel worse than last year's final. At least at that time, there was the thought that we hung tough until Salah went down and Karius did Karius things. In a way, I rationalized it as "We could've won if things broke the right way."

This match hurt so much because we held them at 1-0 for a while and actually outplayed them for much of the 2nd half.

I wasn't angry at the 2nd goal as much as I was sad, since I thought it would be difficult but possible to win 1-0 at Anfield to force extra time or even 2-0 to win it.

But at 2-0 (now 3-0) at Camp Nou, Barca can have a conservative game plan and just play the counterattack which they're already super deadly at anyway.

I don't see us keeping Barca goalless unless they are super prideful and sleepwalk into the next match. We're going to have to play very open to create enough scoring chances, and I think Barca will knock in one just to put it out of reach since they'd have an away goal while we have none.

This sucks!

After that CL match, it's hard for me to get super excited for today's match. I thought we at least had a legit shot at the CL.

I hope the boys don't feel a negative hangover from Wednesday. I certainly do.
