Brogdon will take back his spot from Brown. He's a better player.

Brogdon has been in a boot for a month.

I'm comfortable with Sterling given what he provides defensively. He's a dog on that end of the floor. He's just has to continue to knock down his open looks.

Anyone know the best Bucks bar in Chicago? I may be behind enemy lines for this one.

Celtics are without their best player and we are out our 3rd or 4th best, we still have the advantage

Not strictly Bucks (more Wisconsin), but Will's Northwoods and Redmond's Alehouse have always been good to me for fellow Wisconsinites and random Wisco sporting events.

Kroll's South Loop is a University of Wisconsin bar. They'll probably have the Bucks on one of their many screens.

I think Will’s Northwoods is probably your best bet.

Literally any positive impact he gives us from this point on is just gravy to me. We don't have any terrible players that we're forced to give time to because he's out, he's not the key to making our offense run, and we don't really miss his defense either. I'm not confident that a Brogdon that's working himself back into game shape is going to be this huge boon for us at any point this series.
We're a really loaded team, to be sure, but there's in my opinion a substantial difference between the 43% and basically 41% for his career from 3 that Malcolm provides vs. guys like Pat who are hit and miss. Khris himself never knows if his shot is going in or not, because once his legs are gone the line drive doesn't hit the same way. Mirotic reminds me of Mirza insomuch as the ball sometimes comes off his hand weird, but he can put together hot stretches.
But what we've seen in 3 years of Brogdon is, if he has time to load it and spin it, it feels like it's going in. And he's clutch. So hopefully we blow out Boston one of the first two games and don't need him, but I think you might be selling him short

Good news is as long as we have Giannis we likely have multiple shots at winning it all. First trip to the finals if it's this season would be extra special tho.
100% this. We can now start the narrative of hatred from another teams fan base because 'Giannis gets calls'.
I LOVE THIS. I’ve been thinking about this all week: “My word. Other fanbases now complain because our Hercules Unicorn gets 60% of the right foul calls. Imagine if he shot the amount of FT’s he actually deserved.”

So no chance Brogdon is back within the first two games?

No. He has been officially ruled out for the first two.

I'm with you here DD. I love Sterling, Pat, and Hill, but I think people are underselling how consistent Brogdon's shooting is and how no one else on the team brings that.

Even if Brogdon returns, I imagine he will be playing limited minutes while he's working his way back into game shape. We're still going to need Sterling/Pat.

Not having Brogdon sucks, he would've helped alot in this series.

He’s actually been out of the boot for almost a month.

Personally I have a feeling Brogdon doesn't make it back this series. If he were close they wouldn't rule him out so far ahead of time. And if he does make it back this series his minutes will be very very limited. No way he's close to being in basketball shape.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Should just put the guys that give us the best chance to win out there obviously, no need to rush Brogdon back until he's ready with Sterling and George Hill playing as well as they have on both sides of the ball. Will be interesting to see how our guys other than Giannis get to the basket, I'm sure Bledsoe wants to prove himself.

Depends how long the series is. Game 5 is almost 2 weeks away. 18 days until Game 7. Just because they know he wouldn't be in game shape in 4 days doesn't mean he can't come back in 2 weeks.

None of his replacements come close to matching his driving ability. He also shot 43% from three compared to 36% for Sterling and 33% for Pat. He also led the league in free throw percentage at 93% which could be very useful at the end of games. Defensively, I'd put him ahead of Pat but probably behind Sterling at this point.
Brogdon was also asked to be an offensive playmaker with a lot of bench lineups which Sterling and Pat can't replicate.
The Bucks can definitely win without him, but he's a very important piece.
