He doesn't have a badass, NFL-HC name that strikes fear like Chan Gailey.

Ford isn't a ZBS lineman IMO.
I'd be happy with Greedy, and that's it.
Well, as happy as someone can be while angrily plotting my ISIS-style kidnapping of John Lynch, so I can make him tell the world on camera what a better GM I am than he is.

Jets (Q), Eagles (Dillard), VaGiants (Baker at 30), Dolphins (Wilkins) and Bills (Oliver) all win the first round.
...And probably the Titans w/ Simmons, but we'll see how he comes back form that ACL and acting a fool before the draft.

Re: 2019 NFL-Draft Thread, Days 1-3 From Nashville
Nick Bosa or Frank Clark... Who'd be a better addition to the Niners?
Probably could've gotten Clark, the 22, and Seattle's first and second next year (for the 2). And I would've made that trade if I were Seattle (saving tons of cap room).
That could've netted Clark, Andre Dillard and the ammo' to move up for another great player next year. Staley retires or walks, and Jimmy isn't in danger of another season-ending injury because the OTs suck.
Niners need to trade for Josh Rosen. Now.

Predictions:
Cards take Dalton Risner because their OL is hot poop.
Colts take Byron Murphy.
Oakland takes Drew Lock.

I'm not nearly as angry as I was in 2017 when Lynch completely f**ked the Niners by making a dog-s**t pick like Solomon Thomas, and Bosa legitimately is a very good player. I don't think he'll ever be a great player, whereas Q will IMO.
But then again, Lynch has a few more picks e can screw up, so 2019 still has potential.

Niners can go CB, S, or WR with the 2nd. Love Byron Murphy, IMO the best CB in the draft. As for S love Nasir Adderley, and WR AJ Brown. Obviously they wont be able to get all 3, but I'll go with either Murphy or Adderley here.

That is completely unrealistic, Sick. You think SEATTLE would have sent us two firsts and a pro bowl-caliber pass rusher for Nick Bosa? What in the world would make you believe that? Since when has Seattle demonstrated a willingness to make super-aggressive moves up in the draft? And particularly within the division? The entire point of moving Clark was to get additional picks. Not to mention that we would struggle to pay Clark at this point.

Round two is setting up perfectly for us, with great value at CB, S, WR, and OL. I'm somewhat tempted to look into moving back, but it would be hard to pass up on our pick of a coverage player.

I think Lynchahan have been communicating that they are okay with the secondary as it is, so I think WR/OT is the pick here.

Re: 2019 NFL-Draft Thread, Days 1-3 From Nashville
Varying rankings as a high school player but was rated highest as an athlete coming out of high school. Was a talented receiver and defensive back in high school and played basketball as well.
Redshirted in 2016. Won two team awards for his work on the scout team and in the weight room.
In 2017 played in and started 6 games. He played the first 3 games of the season and the last 3 games of the season and missed 7 games in between while recovering from a broken foot suffered in practice. Recorded 2 INTs in the season opener vs. Rutgers and downed 2 punts inside the 2-yard line and was named the team's defensive player of the game. Played well after his return from injury. Recorded 16 tackles, 1 sack, 3 TFL, 3 INTs, 10 PDs, and 1 FF in those 6 games.
Redshirt sophomore in '18. Put on 14 pounds since the end of the college season and the NFL Combine (up to 190).
Good instincts and plays the ball well. Best when he's in off man coverages and projects to zone specific teams. Size and length is an issue for him when he tries to play press coverages.
Had one of the best on-field NFL Combine workouts you'll ever see from a corner and that's what kind of solidified it for some teams I think. He was very, very good at what he needed to do.
Note: Highest PFF 3-year coverage grade among any corner in the last 3 years.
I get some of the love for some teams but I'd let someone else try and figure it out with him. This early he's not a great fit for what I want to see this team do.
Give me Oruwariye, Michael Jackson, Joejuan Williams. (MANY others later on).

ChrisPozz wrote:Yup, so Dave Gettleman. Doesn't shock me even after some suggested this is what could happen. One of my least favorite personnel people in the entire league. Check my posts. Check the posts from the day he was hired (no, I'm not actually expecting people to hunt those down. Trust me, though). I love this.
I just wish it was to a team I dislike more. I don't have a lot of hate for the Giants as an organization. That's the only problem with this for me.
Oy!
