1 or 2 guys are not making the team from that 2nd group I'd think, gonna be an interesting TC and preseason to see who makes it.

taylor can go, deebo makes him obsolete.

Gotta make room for our five RBs, after all...

Deebo was PFF's #52 overall prospect and #7 overall WR prospect behind Metcalf, Brown, Arcega-Whiteside, Isabella, M. Brown, and Butler.

They have a recorded 21 broken tackles on only 62 catches this past season for him.

2.46 yards per route run mark - 34th in his class
6.1% drop rate - 72nd in his class
4 receptions over 20+ yards - 92nd in his class
197 deep receiving yards - 74th in his class
26.7% deep pass catch rate - 134th in his class
27 slot receptions - 50th in his class
326 slot receiving yards - 54th in his class

They gave him their highest grade of any WR at the Senior Bowl. They graded them all this year and really went deep in their breakdown but I'm not going to get into that.

Teams totally happy to sit and wait on WRs, seemingly. Good that we jumped the gun at the position.

Drew Lock looks like he's 14.

I don't understand that at all. They passed on the QB they wanted, then traded up to the pick right behind to take him? Frickin' take Lock where you took Risner and then see if you can trade up for the OL. WTF, John?

Elway does it again. I either love their picks for them or hate 'em. I am about as down on Lock as anybody you'll find.

Consistency, especially with his footwork, and accuracy are weaknesses. Sloppy feet. Tons of throw away passes. Too many batted passes. Throws into tight windows for good and bad. Scary improviser when the play breaks down.

Broncos and Lock have been connected for a long time, albeit it was at 10 and not outside the top 40.

Deebo Samuel against Clemson in 2018:
10 receptions
210 yards
3 touchdowns

Got it done against the best team

Son of a bleeping mother.

Patriots take Joejuan Williams.

He's a guy a lot of people are down on because many have a long list of concerns but they are ones I'm more comfortable with than most people in the general sense.

This reminds me a lot of the Eric Rowe project that didn't quite work out for them.
