I was close. How many slot guys do we need?

So Taylor, James, and Bourne all gone?

Goodwin, Pettis, Samuel, Hurd, Matthews?

I guess we will probably keep 6, hope they keep James

James is a must keep. One of the few guys on this roster I really, really like.

He won't be gone and it's not realistic but I wouldn't care if Pettis was gone tomorrow.

Darrell Henderson to the Rams.

When you look at his production this year, remember that he had the softest run defense schedule this year of any running back that was at the NFL Combine (an actual stat, not me opining).

I don't like him as much as most people do. It's McVay, though, so....

Darrell Henderson to the Rams at #70 in a trade up with TB. Rams send 94 and 99 to TB for 70.

I really like Pettis and think he is only going to get better. I think Taylor and Bourne are gone at this point

Here we go again with Elway and company. What do I continue to say? I either LOVE his picks or HATE his picks.

I really like Dre'Mont Jones.

Good physique. Moves around the DL and has good quickness and COD off the ball. Good hand fighter. Makes plays on the outside for a DL. Looks like he can play all 3 downs in the NFL. Already has multiple moves top to bottom that he uses well. Needs to get stronger throughout with an underdeveloped base and didn't bench at the NFL Combine. Plays too high and gets pushed around too much right now because he's underdeveloped. Give him time and a solid NFL S&C program.

Germaine Pratt to the Bengals. He was a guy that the 49ers spoke with.

David Montgomery to the Bears.

Dual-threat quarterback in high school. Head coach Matt Campbell called him the best leader and has the best work ethic of anyone he's ever coached. He also said that he was the team's best slot receiver as well. PFF record holder for most missed tackles forced in a season (109 in 2017). Very instinctive runner. Doesn't have high-end top speed.

I love that he's a business major.

Just got back home from surgery.chillin at home watching the draft. Hope not to have to go through all these pages. Thoughts on the 49ers picks today? I wish they addressed the secondary today. Not sure the need with these wide receivers

We're entering Rodney Anderson territory for me with all these RBs coming off the board. It won't happen with the 49ers but he's my favorite one in this class.

i will say Hurd catches well with his hands. He is not a body catcher and he seems to have a nice set of mitts. I think he will be a TE/WR combo. He will be a receiving TE and not have to take the punishment of a RB. 6'5" RBs are way too easy to hit. Put 15lbs on him and he will destroy the field with Kittle. If he stays at slot receiver he will take just as much damage. But I think Matthews or Bourne might be the odd men out if he stays a WR.

Give me some Bryce Love. Though I am biased as a Stanford fan. But as a home run hitter every time he touches the ball he would free up some passing lanes

Devin Singletary to the Bills

Reportedly is one of the healthiest players coming into the NFL Draft with next to no injuries of note and having almost never missed a practice.

According to PFF, he forced a whopping 83 missed tackles forced on 301 carries (for 1,920 yards) and had 1,154 yards after contact in 2017-18.

66 career rushing TDs (most in FBS history by a player who only played 3 years).

Quicker than fast. Extremely good lateral agility with an excellent jump cut. Shows the vision to see holes from a wide perspective.

Very popular player. The Cleveland Browns asked him to do a WR workout at the NFL Combine and he obliged. He also conducted formal interviews with the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, and the Browns. The Jets taped a separate interview with him that Singletary said would be made available to NFL clubs who didn't get a chance to speak with him.

Jace Sternberger to the Packers. Another guy the 49ers reportedly had interest in and brought in for a workout. More of a move TE than inline. Good movement skills and good hands. One of the lesser NFL Network draft guys was a huge fan of his but I can't remember who it was.

Another WR target of mine taken. Terry McLaurin to the Redskins.

Very good natural athlete coming out of high school. Urban Meyer saw him at a high school camp where he ran very fast but struggled bad with drops. He pulled him aside and told him to go home and catch a ton of balls every day and if he showed he could do it in a month's time, he would offer him a scholarship. He went home, did as he was told, some days catching balls from his mom because she was his only option, then went back and showed the improvement and was offered a scholarship.

Teammates look to him as a leader in the WR room and have said of everyone on the team, he might have the best chance at a long pro career.

One of the easiest players to root for in this draft. Excellent background story.

Son of a gun.

Another favorite of mine to the Patriots - Chase Winovich.

And right about the spot where he's good value to me, too.

Hoping we can pick up Drew Forbes G/T tomorrow. He visited the Niners and said he feels like he would fit great in our system and looks up to how Staley plays
