CBs available that the 49ers were known to have had visits/workouts with:

Rutgers Blessuan Austin (1 of their 30 and watched him at his pro day)
Virginia Tim Harris (1 of their 30 and watched him at his pro day)
James Madison Jimmy Moreland (1 of their 30 and had a private workout/meeting)
Baylor Derrek Thomas (1 of their 30)

San Diego Arrion Archie (local pro day)
B'Jon Couther (local pro day)
Central Michigan Xavier Crawford (local pro day)
Nevada Jomon Dotson (local pro day)
Stanford Alijah Holder (local pro day)
USC Isaiah Langley (local pro day)
San Jose State Dakari Monroe (local pro day)
Stanford Alameen Murphy (local pro day)
San Jose State John Toussaint (local pro day)

Appalachian State Tae Hayes (watched him at his pro day)

----

On that list, Tim Harris and Derrek Thomas are the two I have targeted.

Blessuan Austin is a guy many feel they are all over but how much of that was to figure out his very serious injury history? He's a major injury/body/developmental risk.

Living where I do, I've seen a ton of Jimmy Moreland. I liked him initially but cooled on him the more I watched over time. I wouldn't spend my time there.

The rest are up for discussion MUCH later today IMO but none of them I would target.

Yup! Within reason. Can get yourself into trouble if you have this rule too high in your evaluation but in a general sense this is the day for that.

Ha!!!!!!!!

One of my two QB targets in the draft goes with the 49ers original pick.

Amusing.

Pro-style passing offense experience. Tough and will stand tall in the pocket. Can hurt a defense vs. blitz and knows where daylight is at most of the time. Anticipatory thrower that knows where to throw to and gets ball out quick. Good thrower on the move. Good ball placement for the most part. Good thrower in the middle of the field. Good accuracy on deep throws and makes it easy on his receivers to catch his balls.

Already 24. Could stand to put on 10-15 more pounds of muscle to withstand punishment. A little short. Does not have the strongest arm. Has not been overly productive as a passer. Fair share of struggles vs. top talent in Clemson. Several of his interceptions came in the red zone.

Ryan Finley to the Bengals, so a QB off the board early in Day 3.

CGJ played multiple roles for them - slot defender, over the top, in the box. Translates well to a zone heavy team and fits the profile of several NFL defenses. Good run defender. Some scouts reportedly like him better at cornerback but aren't in love with his maturity.

Definitely think he'll be a multiple defender with the Saints.
