They started to panic when Blake left the hospital and took off all that knee covering and got on the court for a few minutes. Kennard was finding lots of gaps and spots to shoot, so Irving can as well.
Horford will defend, and stop, The Greek Fork.
The only thing the Celtics have to fear are the refs. If the fix is in, you will know as 40 free throw attempts by the Bucks and 8 free throw attempts for Boston. Baynes will also pick up two fouls within the first 28 seconds, and Tatum will not get a free throw attempt the entire series, despite needing stitches to his head from the fouls.
No stupid shots means no fast breaks for the Bucks. That is all they score on, fast breaks and then open threes when teams are lazy to cover Middleton and the big is too stubborn to cover Lopez.
Horford may not get double-figure points average, but will still be Boston's best player.

The Bucks PnR defense is to sag and take away all rim runs... Their defense is designed to give up long 2's, tough floaters, or pick and pop 3's. If Theis is a capable 3 point shooter, he will definitely get top of the key looks tho...FlatearthZorro wrote:Celtics_History_Lesson wrote:Milwaukee does not play playoff style basketball.

True, I think Theis should be important both Ilyasova and Mirotic are super slow. I feel like Daniel could dunk on every pick and roll if he goes to the basket. Semi will be vital, according to stats he's been the best Giannis defender in the past 2 years.

To come to another teams board and post that in response to a fan of neither of the teams is some soft ****. Let's hope the Bucks are as thin skinned and soft as you.

This is what ive been talking about— Bucks fans cannot let any perceived slight go without a response. Even something as innocuous as a fan of a third team wanting us to win on our board warrants a response.
I couldnt even imagine a group of people being more thin-skinned than Patriots fans [I am one, FWIW], but here we are. Congrats, i guess.
Just for some brainfood, we do that here too. All...the..time. any perceived slight by another fanbase in here gets flocked toSmartWentCrazy wrote:The Comedian wrote:Wise1 wrote:

The one game Boston won back in early November, we had an absurd 45-point advantage from beyond the arc and won by only four points. The second game which the Bucks won by 13, Celtics were missing both Baynes and Horford (we're hard-pressed to win any game against the really good teams without a healthy Horford IMO). Our third meeting is closer to what I imagine these games would be (replace Smart w/ Hayward) -- a defense-oriented slugfest that may come down to the final few possessions unless one team goes berserk from three or has a huge advantage from the FT line. We had to play 10 combined minutes of Theis & Yabu due to Baynes's absence. I expect more out of Middleton (15 pts), Bledsoe (5 pts), and Giannis (30 pts) but Brogdon's all-around production will be missed during the 1st two games of the series. Horford is the most vital piece for the Cs. When he has his legs under him, he can cause matchup problems on the offensive end while being able to somewhat contain Freak's drives and switch on Bucks guards if need be.
Bud (who knows Horford's game as well as any coach) vs. Brad is gonna be an interesting side-plot to this series.
