rankings strictly based on ceiling. this doesn't mean these guys are likely to reach this level, just what i see their absolute highest outcome as. Obviously if everyone reached that outcome this would be the greatest draft of all time, which ain't happening.

Tier 1(High End MVP Ceiling): ex., LeBron, Curry, Giannis
Zion Williamson

Tier 2(Low End MVP Ceiling): ex., Lillard, Gobert, Butler
Ja Morant
Darius Garland
Bol Bol
Kevin Porter Jr.
Talen Horton-Tucker
Cam Reddish

Tier 3(High End All Star Ceiling): ex., Griffin, Horford, Kemba
Jarrett Culver
RJ Barrett
Jaxson Hayes
Coby White
Goga Bitadze
Sekou Doumbouya
DeAndre Hunter
Brandon Clarke

Tier 4(Low End All Star/High End Starter Ceiling): Covington, Reddick, Draymond, Middleton
PJ Washington
Matisse Thybulle
Romeo Langford
Tyler Herro
Deividas Sirvydis
Chuma Okeke
Grant Williams
Xavier Johnson
Bruno Fernando
Killian Tillie
Nicholas Claxton
Mfniondu Kabengele

Tier 5(Low End Starter/High End Backup Ceiling):
Everyone else that's draftable

Yeah, just don't seem be having any real revelations this time around. Must be getting old, set in my ways.

Tier 1
Zion

Tier 2
Bol
Culver

Tier 3
White
Morant
Pickett
Horton-Tucker
Barrett
Hunter
Clarke
Washington
Williams
Porter
Okeke

Jalen Pickett is a guy I've really really liked as I've watched more of him, only change is moving him into tier 3. Have tried, but really don't feel strongly about order for tier 3. Still not weighing injuries or including Garland/Euros.
I bought a boat.

Alright, final shot. Pickett/Porter/Okeke out. Edwards/NAW/Thybulle in. No internationals/Garland. Positional order within tiers.

Tier 1 - MVP ceiling
Zion

Tier 2 - High floor, Star ceiling
Culver
Hunter
Williams
Washington

Tier 2.5 - Star ceiling
Edwards
Morant
White
NAW
Barrett
THT
Thybulle
Clarke
Bol

'Star' = star level impact, not necessarily role

Reddish/Hayes probably the two biggest omissions from my top tiers. Don't mind either, but don't see much star upside. Hayes feels like a good roll man, but not really a defensive anchor. Reddish I just don't see big upside needed to grade him as more than a serviceable 3&D player.

Interesting that you have Williams and Washington so high because I like them both, in part because I am looking at potential PFs for the Suns. But interested why you rate them so much higher than Clarke given his elite defense, athleticism and efficiency. Is it just age and wingspan?

I guess you have star ceiling on all of them...not sure I see that but I see a fairly high floor on Clarke given what I mentioned above and his bbiq.

I think any of them could be nice in Phoenix. But for Clarke it's the weight that really scares me. 207 lbs is... well it's quite small, just doubtful he can handle NBA bigs for even limited runs.
