LoB City with those two all day.. plus they don't need to have the ball in their hands to be effective. KD and Kyrie lob throwers.... Blocks all game.. geeeeessssh

I might be more open to the idea if we didn't already have mitch but we already have mitch, they can't be on the court at the same time, it just doesn't really make a lot of sense imo

Because Bol shoots 52% from 3 I think he can play with Mitch. He’s grown on me to being the best option if we pick 5th.

When we look back at this draft it will be hard to see how he wasn’t at the top of this class. Of course depending on if he can stay healthy.

Look at Bol's body. Look at his Dad's body. There is no way in hell Bol Bol is ever going to gain enough weight on his frame.
I mean, sure, the modern NBA is less physical than in used to be, but still. He'll get rag dolled all over the place. He'll be "ok", but not "great"

That kids ankles are toothpick thin. I think he can be good but I don't think his body will last 5 years in the league.

IF the Knicks don't get the 1 or second, they should trade out. RJ Barrett is a young prototypical Derozen at best. Cause he can't shot that 3 already in his development.

Trade the 3rd on up. Get two or three more 1st future 1st round picks. Maybe the competition for it will fetch the Team a nice young player like Brandon Ingram to compliment KD and Irving. He only makes $9 sugar canes a year.

I feel the Lakers will bite, in order to move it in a package and satisfy Lebron.

Yes you can.. Knicks have done it already with both Mitch and Kornet.. playing together on the floor whole games. Bol Bol will end up being a better all around player than Mitch anyway once he stays healthy. Even with health concerns he is worth taking if KD and Kyrie are coming.

He is not the same as his dad, NBA strength and conditioning training is way more advance now than before. Seriously What NBA player gets "rag dolled" all over the place?

You all get super excited when you all see Mitch block a shot, get the ball back, dribbles up the court and dunks...
Wait until you see 7'3 Bol do that regularly...

He's close enough to his Dad that strength will wind up being an issue.

He’s 235 pounds. That’s comparable with KP as a rookie. I agree health is a major concern but he can get stronger without putting on weight. Look at KD.

Sorry Manute's Mom. Knicks didn't tank all year for some string bean who'll get pushed around in the post by guys who are routinely 25 lbs heavier and much stronger than the scrub bigs he generally faced in college.

Yeah, look at KP. Fatigued all the time, was scared to play in the post until year 3. Blew out his knee. Developed some big ol growth on his elbow from trying to hang with bigs in the post. Sign me up for all that again.

He was also an All Star which means even with all of his physical concerns, he played at a high level. Does everything have to be a 1 to 1 comparison though? KP struggles with anemia which has a part to play in his stamina issues.

And by year 3? That is what we call development. You act like 3 years is a lifetime in a player who came in at 19 years of age. That’s great improvement.

We’ll see in a few seasons whether Bol is a great pick in this draft. I think his upside is as good as anybody’s after Zion. Who would you take?

bol bol actually did fine on post defense. he just looks unbelievably bad on perimeter switches and in pnr etc. falling down when moving laterally and turning really slow and awkward etc

Bol would be fine if the Knicks were picking 9th to 12th. But hopefully they'll be picking higher than 5th. Or 5th.

Who would I take? Depends on what # the Knicks are picking and if Kyrie is really coming to the Knicks.

I get that but I don’t think there are 11 players better than him. With this thinking I would parlay the 5 into a first and a second and draft him later. The kid is skilled and very good. The only concern is health which is a major concern. But Joel Embiid is defying the odds.

Does anybody actually think the Knicks would draft Bol? I know they scouted some Oregon games. I wonder if they would actually trade down to get him.

My sleeper to sign if undrafted is Sagaba Konate from WVU. He could be a good Noah Vonleh replacement. His health is a concern though. I love his physicality and shot blocking.

That's an idea, if the Knicks drop out of...depends on where you think the drop off occurs. Besides the obvious after Zion.
