Another victim of the roleplayer whisperer that is Billy Donovan.

Augustin has always been good when starting and awful when not.

True, but it's also true that his stint with the Thunder was the worst of his career. And that ties in nicely with the plethora of offensive roleplayers that have played like absolute garbage under Donovan.

I like Levert. He seems like a Presti kind of guy.

Except he’s good.

Phoenix continues to be a disaster. When people say russ is untradeable they ignore how badly managed some of these other organizations are.

The Clippers have already won more games against the best team in the league than we did vs Portland.

Clippers were 9th in offense and 19th in defense.

Jerry West is the one move we could make that would fix this team.

Kawhi is my ideal player. He’s just about as the most complete as any single player I’ve ever seen.

The Celtics look like a team with a defensive gameplan. Must be nice.

And they don’t have to have an authoritarian coach either.

I found myself rooting for Houston. It just feels dirty.

Right but he’s not an authoritarian. He’s much more similar to Steve Kerr than popovich. My point is that you can still have a coach that doesn’t have to butt heads with your stars to be successful.

Yeah they just have to actually be a good basketball coach, and not coach like he's playing non-conference SEC opponents

Predictably Denver put out an actual strategy to put him in a dog house.

Not a knock on OKC, but its nonaware coaching staff. #presti's sustainability

To be fair, he was hitting contested 30 footers regularly, and a contested 40 footer to win the game after dropping 50 to win by 3 points. If he was his "normal self" on those difficult threes then... you know

The Bucks depress me. They come out of nowhere and perform at a very high level all season long on both sides of the floor without even going through drastic changes roster wise compared to last season (I'm talking about like Toronto trading Derozan for Leonard; the Bucks mainly improved their depth without getting any serious difference makers). Meanwhile we just continue to fail in an embarassing fashion postseason after postseason. Our GM talks about keeping "the grind" going, our coach just gives 12 hour long answers without actually saying anything, our PG tells people he don't give a **** about criticism, acting like his shooting struggles are just bringing out the haters, and our SF will miss the whole offseason while calling guys like Grant "Swiss Army Knives"...

I fee l like JD in season 6 of Scrubs:

As I looked at all the relationships around me - some that had gone on forever…some that were reigniting…and some that had just begun…I realized something. It should have been me.

The bucks didn’t make significant moves but they made the right moves. They didn’t keep Jabari Enes Parker. I think they got a little lucky with Lopez being a sniper from three. They didn’t use a draft pick to dump ilyasova. They’ve drafted decent and haven’t squandered assets on Dion Waiters type players.
