Will he get another start? It was kind of his make or break start today and it was same ol' stuff. Start off okay and burn out into the 5th/6th inning.

I don't think we should get another start. Capuano has always had a very effective breaking pitch that he threw for strikes 75% of the time. However, this year he hasn't been able to throw it consistently for a strike and then falls behind and guys can sit on his 88-90 MPH fastball. He is just going to continue to get beaten around.

The 8 strikeouts = Ned saying he gets another shot

Um, if you take out Saturday's and Sunday's game, the Brewers scored a total of 10 runs in the first 4 games of the homestand

If you add in saturday and sundays game they scored 25 runs.
You really dont think it was a good move to put braun fourth so he can run more and put hardy 8th where he has been great?

I never said that. I said that they scored 14 of their 24 runs in two games, and lost one of them. That doesn't make a good offense, it makes an inconsistent offense. All the runs today came from home runs, and 6 of the 8 on Saturday came from home runs, the other 2 being the first runs the Brewers manufactured since the Saturday game in Houston. That's abysmal.
Braun, Fielder, and Hardy have all benefited from their lineup changes, there's no doubting that. But it's a home run here, pop out here, home run there, swing and a miss there. The pitching is the bigger problem, no doubt, but the offense is also a large problem.

This has been a homerun hitting team all year you can't change that now.
If this team wants to contend for the division in Sepetember they need to start wining 3-2 games and 4-3 games.

But you can add to it. Just because the Brewers hit home runs all the time doesn't mean they are forbidden from manufacturing runs, something they have seemingly refused to do. THAT will lose (lost them 5 games on this homestand) them a ton of games.
Trust me, I know the pitching is awful right now, but the offense just can't be let off the hook. The offense has been so predictable it's not even worth watching at times.

I don't see how you change it. Or how this team starts to try to just get a hit and not try to hit the ball out of the ball park. We need to get someone on this team that does that everyday. And I don't know who can do that.

There's the money question. How do you change it? At this point in the season, you almost can't. However, you can spend more time in batting practice to just hitting liners, groundballs, getting bunts down, etc. I was at a game and watched batting practice and the first two pitches they see they try to bunt, that's it. Work more on these fundamentals of baseball, because right now it's all about the home run with this team, and while home runs are fun and exciting, relying on them will lose you games.
