Zion is a 14% chance, might be injury prone and anyway, all the young Knicks suck, who were picked by a FO some or all of who are still here, so they'll just pick more guys who suck, particularly high in the draft. Personally, I'm only excited about what they might do with that late 2nd rounder.

Just trying to parse hot takes around here and create a narrative.

Does "all" include: KP, Mitch Robinson, Dotson, and Trier?

Not to me, but I've seen others state it's everyone but Mitch.

I like all our young talent and think they all have room (different levels of course) to improve.

I really don't mind if we strike out on FA this summer if that allows us to continue getting more young talent here and/or stockpiling more draft picks. There's no sure fire way on how to build a dynasty but I definitely don't mind if they decide to grow this thing organically and allow our young pups to develop over the course of the next few seasons.

Also if we end up outside of the top 2, I'd hope they'd consider trading down for multiple picks with someone like Atlanta.

If the knicks get the number 1 pick is zion no question about if it is number 2 it has to be rj barret need legit 2 guard for durant and kyrie to make open shots. I think ja morant is going to be good but not going to be for the knicks have 2 many point guard on this roster his better fit should be for the bulls or suns.

This year the order of the lottery will be progressive (starting from the first pick) or regressive (starting from the 14 pick)?

Does anyone know which pick will be drawn first? In 2015 and in NBA2K, they start the lottery from the 14th pick. But last year, they started from the first pick.

I want to know if I have to root to have Knicks numbers picked first or to not have the Knicks numbers picked until the end.

They always start with 14 and work their way down. So I guess when they get to 5th start hoping they don't get called

Really want top 3, but if we get unlucky and get 4th or 5th I think I'd want reddish, I know everyone's down on him but I just don't like any of the other prospects after 3 very much and he seems like a prototypical 3 and D with his length and shooting, still has upside and would be a good fit at SG

while i still believe in cam as well

i think coby white is an even better fit at the 2 for this team but i would be happy with either guy at 5.

I like him, I guess I had always thought of him more as a PG but I guess he can also play SG

the thing with him is he was never even initially a real point guard he just grew into that role at NC and thrived in it, he was always more of a scorer. He can legit play the 1 or 2

if kyrie/durant are definitely coming here id probably go cam since he's familiar with that 3D role and you have durant who can help mentor him and bring out that potential.

if our team is going to pretty much stay what it is now i think Coby just makes alot of sense, he's a shotcreating playmker that can also play off ball and knock down the 3. Dennis tends to have a bad shot selection and we lack guys that can do more than shoot the ball.

if these playoffs teach anything, having a versatile backcourt of guards is never a bad thing

we can actually know earlier than that. If CHI is 8th we know we will be picking 5th. If PHX is 7th we know we will be picking 5th. If CLE is 6th we 100% know we will be picking 5th...
