Are Rays fans also Marlins fans?

Post#1 » by OoAnd1 » Thu Apr 5, 2007 9:35 pm

I live in SouthFL...I'm a Marlins fan but they also show some Rays games here and I root for the Rays. Yet, I don't live in Tampa so I'm not a 100% fan. I don't care about the Rays THAT much.

But then Tampa is obviously in Florida and since the Marlins are the "Florida" Marlins, in theory, everyone from Tampa should also be Marlins fans. So does it actually work that way?

I have no geographic kinship with Tampa. I'm not even on the same continent. So, no.

So why don't you Floridians go for the Marlins?

Are they at least your "NL Team"?
