ironically for a guy who predicates his game on not embarrassing himself on the court (passing up open shots, not shooting jumpers for fear of looking stupid, finishing cute around the rim, instead of trying to slam it), Ben really opens himself up to a lot of humiliation.

It's the Streisand effect. he's gonna get roasted again all offseason, and deservedly so.

It's a no win situation

Embiid isn't going to have a long career and they know it. They have to at least try to go "all in" now. even if it blows up in their face.

Embiid and Simmons aren't ready to win, but ironically we can't afford to wait because he may not be around much longer

it disturbs me that these guys seemingly learned nothing from the Boston series embarrassment last year.
