Not as long as your coach tells you that you don't have to be able to shoot.

Respiratory illness aside, I straight up didn't recognize Embiid tonight. Easily his worst ever performance in arguably the most important game of his young career.

My issue with Embiid being sick is this: he shouldn't be sick, especially this time of year. He's getting paid max money. He should be eating clean as hell, go to sleep early, and do all the preparations needed to be in game shape. Look at Giannis; lean as hell, always ready to go.

Hopefully this season shows Embiid he can't just coast anymore. His body and lifestyle has to be fit for the NBA.

The Tobias Harris trade was dumb then. It looks really dumb now. Just a TERRIBLE PANIC move. Now we're going to have to resign this guy for the MAX. He'll be a bad contract as soon as he signs it.

Someone needs to get fired for that trade. Who would that be?

We got exposed basically. Our players are overrated except Jimmy, not his fault at all.

A bad lifestyle catches up with you. You definitely are more prone to being sick and have more injuries.

All I'm saying is Embiid needs to take it seriously. He can't just think he can out talent everyone. He's not fat but he's def not as cut as he could be. Look at his college body. He obviously needs to be bigger than that but he's gotta be as lean as he can be.

I doubt Landry friggin SHamet would be doing anything for us right now.

I don’t recall how I felt at the time, but we gave up two picks and a good rotation guy for the right to overpay Tobias on a five year deal. He is a complementary guy, not sure I want to get stuck with that contract.

Even if we come back and win the series, I’m not sure we want to lock these four guys in.

That's a foolish way to look at it. Shamet is super cheap for 3 more years. We'd have our 2 1st rounders and 2 2nd rounders back. And we wouldn't be forced to overpay Harris in a year when the whole damn league is going to have cap room.

I can accept losing. Just not this way.

Just not because of some sickness or repeated mental lapse.

The was an embarrassing loss. Its 1 thing to lose, its another to get absolutely destroyed.

If this doesn't motivate anyone for game 6, we deserve to be sent home for the season. Brown will deserve to be canned.

It was a terrible trade. Jerry West bent us over without lube. Harris didn't have nearly that much value as a pending FA about to be massively overpaid. It's the kind of deal a rookie / inexperienced FO would do.

Were you against that trade when it happened?

I remember me and the_process reacting negatively to that trade when it happened. Mostly everyone else was ecstatic.

I knew it was a bad trade because the Sixers gave up way too much and Harris isn't what they needed. What they really needed was a better Roco, not a poor man's melo.
