As Nas said “It was written”
Golden state isn’t losing 2 out of 3 at home. The Clippers series was interesting too until it wasn’t.
The warriors dont have control of the series. If Klay Thompson doesent break out of his series long slump. They wont win another game.

I predict the winner of this game will win the series.

Game 5 is when the Warriors re-establish why they are far and away favorites to win the title from the start. i see a blowout win like Tuesday's games.
If there is no basketball in heaven, i am not going.

Rooting hard for the Rockets. I hope they treat the next game like a game 7

Both teams will treat it Iike a game 7, it will depending on who shows up. I think Warriors are the slight better team overall, but Rockets have been very resilient and always play the Warriors tough . So it should be a good game . Hard to blow out a 3 point shooting team like the Rockets unless you play amazing lockdown defense . The Warriors could’ve blown out the rockets in game 2 had Curry not missing like 3-4 threes and killed all the momentum. Warriors clearly played their best basketball and defense in game 2. We will see how game 5 goes.

Rockets don’t run the clock down too deep.

Have Harden attack Iggy early, and let's see how that knee is feeling. Durant is Durant so what are you gonna do? Single cover Durant and let him get his, play Curry/Klay physical and don't let them settle in, give Green any open look from outside he wants, but don't let him drive.

Re: WCSF | P3: (1) Golden State Warriors vs (4) Houston Rockets (Series tied 2-2)
I actually think the Rockets have a better shot at winning game 7 at Oracle than Game 5. After losing two in a row like the Warriors just did and with Curry and Klay struggling like hell I just expect a lot of things to go the Warriors way in this game. They know how important it is to get it. That's not to say that if they lost that they aren't capable of winning Game 6 in Houston but that puts a lot of pressure on them to come out and perform.

I still don't know why people talk like GSW played better first 2 games, and rockets were better last two games.
They played at equal lvl all 4 games... if 2 shots bounced of the rim different it could be 4-0 for either team...
Warriors are still favourites but lets see what happens tonight

You could say that about so many playoff series. Even the 2009 Finals would have been Orlando's if they guard Derek Fisher correctly in one game and Courtney Lee makes a layup in another game. Doesn't change that L.A. was the much better team, and they won in 5 games.

Gonna put this here since the thread about Curry's epic flail got swiftly shut down (guess that's not allowed, lol).
Yeah Curry flops like this quite frequently, sometimes flailing to near comical proportions. The ones I find most hilarious are when he juts his ass out and flails his arms wildly, almost spasmodically, in an attempt to draw a call on a defender closing out from the side or behind.
But you are right that a great number of players do similar things to elicit calls. It's similar to how certain players scream like a mad man whenever they go for a layup regardless of circumstances.
The problems I have with it all are:
1) Fans/Media only call out certain players for something so many players do.
2) Too many fans don't realize that poor officiating is the CAUSE not just the RESULT of such behavior. Players often have to accentuate/exaggerate contact in order to get legitimate calls. That breeds behavior that inevitably leads to situations where some guys fake contact to try to dupe the refs.
The4thHorseman wrote:alebaba wrote:He's been doing that for awhile now, which make Curry fans think he gets foul all the time. Kobe was the master at this, but got suspended and stopped after.
Almost all players do it when attempting a 3pt shot, but not when they obviously didn't come close to being touched.

Re: WCSF | P3: (1) Golden State Warriors vs (4) Houston Rockets (Series tied 2-2)
I only think the winner of this game wins the series if the winner tonight is Houston. They would then be riding a three game winning streak back home and they more than likely get it done in front of their home fans.
If Golden State wins tonight then at least Houston goes back home and they could send it to a game 7 where anything can happen. I hope I am wrong and the Warriors win it in 6, but I'm not convinced the series is just over if they win tonight. Houston on the other hand, I'll be super nervous.

I just wonder if Houston regrets trading Lou Williams, Beverley and Harrell for CP3 who is averaging 15pts, 6 rebs and 5 assists and more than 3 turnovers/game. Yes, he is playing great defense but I think Houston can really use all three esp Beverley's and Harrell's defense and hustle and Lou's clutch scoring.

They mentioned during one of yesterday's game that the 80-85% of Game 5 winners will win the series. So yeah.

Very interesting way of thinking though it kinda make some sense. On the other hand, if Curry goes berserk tonight and GS won by like 20+, it will be devastating for Houston's chance in G6.
Btw, there is a huge Uber and Lyft strike today in the bay area, and it seems like it's gathering a lot of momentum from both the drivers and riders. Not sure if it will impact the 1st quarter attendance or not.
RealGM loves you, Melissa.

i want rockets to win, but can't bet against goldsen state with their backs against the wall and at home on top of it.
game will be close till 3 quarters and warriors blow it open in the 4th.

True that is for sure. Also, I think the Warriors have a great chance of winning the series if they win tonight of course, but I just think Houston would still have a pulse where it's quite possible if Golden State loses tonight (that would be three in a row), they'll be in a world of trouble going back to Houston.
