Such a a ridiculous article.HaroldinGMinor wrote:https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2019/05/09/silverstein-critics-see-cracks-green-bay-packers-new-management-structure/1142267001/
Every time I read one of these I just assume Elliot Wolf is the anonymous source. I could be wrong, of course, but I seem to remember there were rumblings that he was ticked he didn't get the GM job after they blocked him from interviewing elsewhere:
In regards to Russ ball...
But despite his anonymity outside the building, he is described as a polarizing figure by current and former associates. Agents who negotiate contracts with Ball call him fair and honorable. Others who have left the team say he is an organizational climber, rubs people the wrong way and has a personal agenda that interferes with the cohesiveness between the different departments.
Asked about that, Murphy said any questions about Ball’s responsibilities or performance are born of jealousies that exist over how the front office shook out. He said Ball was an important part of the team’s success and was trusted by Thompson.

Considering they drafted a Saftey in the 1st and signed one of the top guys in FA (pretty much the exact reasons why Jones wants out I'd guess) then probably not unless they feel he can be a Hybrid guy backing up everywhere but they probably would want him becoming a solid CB first before pushing him into a hybrid role.books wrote:are the packers going to try Josh Jackson at safety?
