Only offering a 3 yr deal when Luke had a 5 year deal before, just got 4 from Sac, and Monty just got 5 from Phoenix is straight up amateurish

If they want him then you offer 4. Split the difference. Sounds to me like Lue believes the term and the salary is low.

This is just another message to us that LeBron owns the Lakers. 3 years left on his contract and the Lakers will only offer those 3 years to Lue. PR **** storm be damned.

Clearly the Lakers don't want Lue as much a LeBron does.

Clown show. A really good clown show.

Currently living in Orlando. The issue with Vogel is similar to Luke in that the substitutions are terrible. Veterans will get unfair extra minutes over the younger guys. Great with out of timeout plays. Other than that, the offense was fairly good, but simple. Defense was overrated.

I think this is Lue realizing the Lakers org is in a position of weakness, as he looks like the best choice, or the least worst option in my view, and is trying to take advantage.

So detached from any emotional investment at this point that each subsequent report is pretty entertaining. Like you have to be deliberately trying to be this inept.

Dude, if they were demanding Kidd to be a part of the staff, they are probably just going to go with him and he'll probably take 3 at 18 million. WEAK

That being said, I'm fully into not offering him more than 3 years at 6/per.

This could also be interesting in that it could reverberate with Bron. The talk of trading him may heat up again if he is pissed off at the clown show it might even directly come from him. Jeanie likes money, and her family will fire her if they aren't all making it, though so she'll want to keep Bron one would think.

If the Rambis clan can keep us from hiring who Jeanie wants, it's time for Jeanie to go and take them with her.

Woodson and Vogel are both good coaches. Man I’m starting to see the whole “lakers fan are greedy as hell” stank. Chill out fellas. Media is having fun with us. Let’s have a little more faith in our team. Be patient and see where we go

What makes you say those two are good coaches? All evidence points to the contrary.

Whether you wanted Lue or not, this here is incompetence. Nothing greedy about calling it out for what it is.

I don't even have words. I feel like if there was even one competent person in Jeanie's "brain trust" then they would be able to have an ounce of self awareness and realize that things have only been going steeply downhill for us. The fact that they just continue on digging themselves deeper and deeper shows that we have what it takes to surpass Dolan and the Knicks as the poster for an inept franchise.

Yep greedy AF. I expect the Lakers to not fumble through their first wave of coaching candidates only to fall into their pool of 2nd tier choices. Our owner’s hand picked POBO just up and quit, and has appeared to be replaced by our owners BFF and her husband, but I guess because we’ve had such success under this current owner and FO, expecting more is greedy. Naw, I’d rather hold onto my faith than place it in that basket.

All I’m saying is what if a playoff coach gets fired....if we can get a chance at someone like Stotts for example it’s worth it to wait. I mean we would have to offer an insane amount of money but **** it do it for the right coach.
