My optimistic side is telling me that we can still win this series. But realistically, probably not. We have no one that can guard Durant 1v1 and we would have to win 4 out of the next 5 games.

I was absolutely wrong as well. I see what MDA is trying to do here. We need more bodys against the Warriors and sometimes we see Tuck and Shump together on the court for solely defensive purposes. The Warriors are having much harder time running switch isos through KD because essentially we are forcing them to take Tuck or Shump under those circumstances. If KD gets a favorite matchup, we have one those to help float for double coverage depending on how the matchups are assigned.

If those two can give us any buckets, it's only a plus since the Rockets offense have been nothing but Harden, Paul and Gordon.

Yeah I've noticed that Shump and Tuck do fairly well against KD, better than anyone else on the team. As long as they don't jack up too many shots on offense (which they normally don't), then we'll be okay, at least for short stretches in Shump's case, Tuck could probably play all game and get 10-12 pts on open shots.

MDA's rotations have impressed me this series, and I like the fact that he took out Gerald Green very quickly after he took 2 straight bone-headed shots in game 3. Every possession is important against the Warriors, Green really shouldn't be playing in this series at all.
