Demar has had a better postseason than Kyrie so far

DD: 22/7/5 2Tos on 56TS

Kyrie

22/5/7 3Tos on 52TS

of course, Kyrie actually won a series but the Nuggets are way better than the Pacers

Pop has gotten the best out of DeMar.

I think it’s that and that being the 2nd option has helped his game a bit.

Pop said they gonna have Demar shoot more 3s next season, interesting to see how that goes with Chip Engleland there to work with him

Yeah I really wish we could've stolen Chip from the Spurs too. Would have made improvements to the shot mechanics of Pascal and Norm.

Apparently, Demar was at Disney last week. Had a student see him and his entourage there.

Might be there for the new Millennium Falcon ride. Not yet open to the public, but I hear some privileged individuals are getting their first taste of it ahead of time.

Do you think Demar watches what Kawhi is doing and thinks to himself "Yeah I get why they traded me"?

I can't help but think if Derozan was still here, how much better we would be. He got to the rim, got to the line, just had to stop shooting threes and his TS% was great, became a much better defender this year. Has the passing we miss from a number one option. There's no doubt we would have won this series by now if Derozan was still here. We would still have Poeltl who was a great rim protector, rebounder and inside presence too.

Too obvious?

Could you be so kind and provide the stats, which could confirm your statement that DD's "TS% was great"?

Nah man. It’s was just meant as sarcasm to show that’s how ridiculous other some fans look like right now.

Casey must be pissed! I can see him in that gif swearing because this justifies the moves Masai made including letting him go. I doubt he would have been as experimental in the season to prepare for the playoffs. He would've gone for, and gotten, a 60 win season and lose to Orlando.

Demar is probably torn. Pissed it's not him moving to the ECF but happy for Kyle, Ibaka, etc.

Lol, Casey is so damn stubborn to anything basketball. Why so many homers on here tried to justify his stupidity is embarrassing for them.

Casey would've thought the only difference was Kawhi, and honestly this is the time he would be right. He keeps mentioning how much everything is the same under Nurse this season and he's not entirely wrong. Nurse made some very stupid decisions this series and got bailed out, along with everyone else who couldn't shoot and play hot potato pretty much all series (Gasol, Lowry, Ibaka, FVV, even Siakam after game 1), by Kawhi.

Without Kawhi, Nurse would be criticized from some of these things for example; not attacking JJ when even the Nets of all teams were doing it game after game, not giving Embiid more room to chuck threes to close out the paint for everyone else, having a weird obsession with FVV, playing way too small for way too long this series, calling game 2 like it was a regular season game all together, tried Meeks for some damn reason etc etc.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Good points. He made some stupid decisions and so did Brown. Philly did a good job hiding JJ and the other 4 starters were incredibly talented. He didn't care if JJ went off as much as the other 4. Nurse is a mad scientist. He experimented even in this series. He had faith in his bench and they didn't deliver. But when it came to a must win he made the right moves - Game 4 and 7.

I was fine with his mistakes. They were logical, they just didn't work. Some of Casey's mistakes were head scratchers like Miles on Love. Even being small worked sometimes. But their PG is 6'10. JJ is 6'4. I also don't think Brown out-coached him. His playcalling and execution at end of game was bad. Ours was solid. Out of timeouts we executed plays. If our offense shot the ball better we would've won in 5. Can't blame Nurse for passing up wide open shots after the play was successful.

He's a rookie coach and they listen to him. Casey wouldn't flex at all and players would get mad.

I'll just say it isn't about what you and I think of Nurse and Casey, you bring up of what Casey might be thinking. Casey wont be pissed, he'll tell himself what if he had a player like Kawhi instead because nothing else changed. Something he said on the record multiple times, for the most part, this season when asked about the team.

IIRC, Greg was decent in a game against the Sixers while JV was out. That's probably why Brand picked him up instead of Kanter or whoever else might have been available.

So if Masai doesn't trade Monroe (and a pick) for tax relief at the deadline, Raptors lose in the second round? That's flukier than Kawhi's shot.
