The national media is ignorant and trying to pry him from Milwaukee, like the scummy big market shills they are.

Giannis was basically raised by the Bucks for his rookie season and its former owner, Senator Herb Kohl, helped get his family into the country. His brothers went to high school in Milwaukee. His relationship with the Bucks and Milwaukee is completely unique, he isn't some disloyal spoiled AAU brat. He likes being here by all accounts.

Dude, the Bucks are probably the best organization in the league right now. It's was bought by 3 hedge fund guys and they implemented core business strategies into the organization. Their motto is "it's either the best or we have failed". The result is the best arena, the best training facility, the best marketing, etc.

It's no wonder that Anthony Davis put Milwaukee right up there with the NY Knicks when asking for a trade.

Giannis isn't African-American. The experience for African immigrants, such as from Nigeria, can be wildly different than for native born blacks. Family structure, education levels, religion, outlook on life, crime rates, etc.

Milwaukee might be bad for undereducated individuals coming from broken families living in deindustrialized neighborhoods. It is segregated but that is true of all Northern cities, NYC and Boston included.

Weird post.

With Kidd and the management changes, there was a time it seemed like Giannis might leave. But with Budenholzer and the front office showing it can be pretty solid it's hard to foresee now. There's never been any indication that Giannis doesn't like Milwaukee, that I've seen.

Pair that with the money and the tide shifting against ringz/title chasing culture, it's hard to see the case for him leaving. The only thing may be if the team splits up a bit with the free agencies upcoming, but it seems like the guys there are pretty committed regardless.

There was no need to make this thread. You have zero sources for something that absolutely no one else is talking about. The Bucks look like the class of the East - if Antetokounmpo wants out, he is being exceedingly professional in supporting the team he is currently on. Why target one of the few guys in the league who is coming off as team-first, likeable, and drama free?

What? Giannis could be well on his way to an MVP+the finals this year. He loves his teammates. The organization has done right by him. Why would he hate it?

Chris HaynesESPN Staff Writer

"As long as Milwaukee does the right moves and we're a championship [contending] team, I'm not going nowhere," Antetokounmpo said. "This is my home. All I know is loyalty and this is an organization that [has preached that] since day one and hopefully I can help them bring joy to the fans and bring joy to the city in the future with a championship."

In all fairness, the facilities are the newest in the NBA. I'm sure GS's facilities will top it this year and the Clippers in 4 years with a new arena. That's more coincidental than anything. I do think the Bucks are building something fantastic and have a well run organization regardless.

What was Tim Duncan's beef with the Spurs anyway?

This is crazy. Is this real life?

Wisconsin also incarcerates the most black men in the country, and in Milwaukee County, more than half of all black men in their 30s and 40s have served time. In the 53206 Zip Code alone, 62 percent of all men have spent time in an adult correctional facility by age 34.

Great time to be a cheesehead. Christian Yelich won the mvp in baseball last year for the Brewers, Giannis is going to win it in the nba. Aaron Rodgers needs to step it up and win mvp in the nfl, again, then we’ll have the 3 biggest stars in the major sports.

Yelich has 15 homers in Milwaukee (out out 26hits, this is bonkers) and one away. He has a 1.66 OPS home and .775 away. He certainly is looking like a superstar for 81 games this season.

(Yelich is amazing I am sure he'll get hot away from his home batting practice field, but it's an absurd split 25% through the season)

Seems everyone wants to play in LA? Can Buck fans tell us why Giannis is so unhappy there? You think he it be a match in heaven. As the Bucks are a good young team.
