CBS Sports: "Garland is small but mighty (think Steph Curry size-wise). Scouts have said to me that Garland, a better shooter than Morant, has a really, really good shot at becoming the better NBA point guard between the two of them. He can score from everywhere. He's got a great handle and good vision."

247Sports: A knee injury ended his season early for the Commodores, but most aren't expecting meniscus to factor into his draft placement. This is a player with tremendous upside and the potential to increase his stock at the draft combine against other top-flight guards that might be ranked ahead of him in NBA front offices.

i see the top 5 being...

1) Zion Williamson
2) Ja Morant
3) RJ Barrett
4) Darius Garland
5) Cam Reddish

Ending up with one of them, at the end of the day,
Is a good thing. But ending up with Zion is franchise altering. And that’s the ultimate goal.

If this doesn’t happen how we hope, the FO shouldn’t be blamed and the idea of tanking shouldn’t be persecuted.

We put ourselves in the position for good things to happen despite all the past efforts to not be here. That’s a huge victory for our long term goals.
