Pick 1 Net out of each of these pairings
Let’s say you were faced with the decision to choose one or the other.
This is meant to see who you think has more value to the team or who you think is just better, and not to discredit.
I think these are all tough choices, esp. on the d’lo or levert.
D’lo or Levert
Din or Harris
Rodi or Allen
RHJ or Graham
Carroll or Davis
This year’s 1st rd pick or Musa

This year's BRK 1st, I think. Bol Bol is gonna look awesome on this team.-soul fist- wrote:Let’s say you were faced with the decision to choose one or the other.

I think these are all tough choices, esp. on the d’lo or levert.
D’lo or Levert - D'Angelo: durability, AS nod, led a talent-poor team to the postseason
Din or Harris - Spencer: cost-controlled for longer, slightly more desirable skillset
Rodi or Allen - Jarrett: this is not a debate, and I love Rodions
RHJ or Graham - Tre'Veon, he has a small, non-guaranteed contract and seems a better ancillary complement to our core. Rondae is an RFA, and I'm not sure he's worth his cap hold even if we strike out on the major FA's.
Carroll or Davis - Ed.
This year’s 1st rd pick or Musa

i wouldnt want bol bol unless he falls to the second round... maybe not even then. he has a ton of issues that project to be long term issues. despite his size, he is a really awful defender... and that sin a league where he can play zone. i also worry about his health

Re: Pick 1 Net out of each of these pairings
Bol Bol is a very good defender, I have to refute you there.
His intensity level and want-to, as well as of course his long-term health for that frame, are legitimate red flags. Speaking statistically, in terms of blocking or altering shots while not fouling, he was a game-changer. He is fast and lithe enough to switch screens with all 5 positions. If he consistently showed the drive to do it, he'd be a top-4 pick. The gamble is in whether you can coach that into him. He's not sure-shot, but with a great young C already in the fold, we can afford to swing for the fences.
Did I mention, his jumper is wet? Even if he doesn't "pan out", he bring elite rim protection and long-range shooting for his position. At worst, I see him as a Meyers Leonard type, but he has poor-man's Unicorn potential.

i dont see how he can be viewed as even an average defender unless you are projecting his ceiling out 5 years from now. he was, nothing short of, abysmal defensively this season. both defending inside and out.
I watched Trayvon reed go against him time after time after time, not miss or have a single shot altered, and make a parade to the FT line, including dominating him down the stretch to eek out a win. I wathed him get blown by and bodied down low offensively all 9 games. despite playing mostly non-conferece scrub teams cause it was early in the schedule
i watched all 9 games he played in full, cause i was a big bol bol guy early on with his record wingspan. and he IS legit offensively. but defensively... woof... he is AWFUL
if we are looking for a center who may fall, id much rather Jaxson Hayes.
Bol Bol is just this years fab melo
