Problem with No Kyrie is we miss that big time scorer.
We would need Hayward, Tatum or Brown to be the 20 plus ppg guys. We would need more scoring.
I think I love Anthony Davis if Kyrie is here or not.

Reports are Knicks are all in on Anthony Davis if they get the #1 pick. So the fate of our future lies on that pick. Knicks probably will get it. Kyrie walks. We screwed lol

I don't think so. People are assuming Kyrie, Durant and AD? How would that be possible?
I think Celtics will be fine. Won't be title contenders if Kyrie leaves and no AD, but we will still be building towards that as a playoff team with high upside.

Re: The Knicks Scenario
I just mean in terms of trading for AD. NY getting it, Kyrie definitely walking and us being screwed was more of a tongue in cheek "that figures" kinda post. I do think Kyrie is gone, but with Terry Rozier basically outing himself as a locker room cancer, I am slightly more confident that he'll resign. I'm talking from a 10 to about 30%.jfs1000d wrote:Jaqua92 wrote:Reports are Knicks are all in on Anthony Davis if they get the #1 pick. So the fate of our future lies on that pick. Would be stunned if the Knicks don't get it. But I'm a conspiracy theorist when it comes to the lottery.

I don't know man, would love to think that way, but I just think too many signs point to it happening.

They’re going to win the lottery. They want the New York market to be revelant. That’s more money. I still consider the knicks one of the most overrated franchises in sports.

The New York market is incredibly relevant. Knicks make bank. They don't need to be good to make money at all.
The lottery is not rigged.
No one rates the Knicks as anything but trash. They are not overrated even by their own fans.

Zion could be enough to bring Phoenix into relevance. That would be pretty cool,GoCeltics123 wrote:

Re: The Knicks Scenario
Knicks would have to trade almost every player on their team to fit all three salaries in I would think. Zion, Knox, plus some other bits and pieces would be better than any other package available for Davis.

We will see. I hope it’s not the suns either. I can’t stand those losers. How many top 5 picks do you need to be a decent team?

Re: The Knicks Scenario
Is there any reason why the mavs will jump into the top 4? They had 33 wins. We should have a chance as well with the kings pick if that’s the case.
