Magic to appear on ESPN First Take on Monday

Hope Stephen A and Max get him to speak in great detail as to why he re-signed from the Lakers, though I’d be surprised if Magic needs any extra encouragement to speak his mind.

Not really, he quit on all his coworkers. Didn't give a two week notice. His coworkers showed up to work every day and he didn't. They started talking about him not being there and made it an inside joke. He put his ego ahead of the Lakers and not only orchestrated the riots and fires, he threw gasoline on them.

I get it, his coworkers were wrong for talking about him. But you don't do this to the fans.

If this appearance is anything like his Twitter, he’s just gonna go there and read boxscores

The more I think about this...this is totally a move by our FO. Magic is going to go on first take and defend Jeanie and rob and will talk about how great the lakers are. He’s pretty much our PR guy now

you guys are looking at this all wrong. Magic being magic is code for tampering.

he can now go on shows like SAS and talk openly about how perfect Kawhi and Lebron would be. Hell, he'll probably be in the room for the meetings. Dude loves the Lakers - he was just tired of all the hard work and getting fined for his lame ass tweets. It's better than likely that he got a stern warning from Silver about his decorum.

This is beautiful.

This is how I see it as well. He's the most dangerous he's ever been for us.

He’s going to make that pitch for Kawhi to come home.

I have zero interest in what this clown has to say especially about the Lakers. I don’t wanna see his face for a couple of years. Attention whore. Go tweet box score you quitter. He’s a joke and a meme.

Magic can do more good now without backlash.

There was a double standard. MJ can compliment KD, but MagicJ couldn’t compliment Giannis. It makes no sense. If anything MJ has more power than Magic did as owner.

Going to be the ame blithering idiot hypocrite who would go on TNT with the title LAkers VP and say Kobe and Shaq need to keep things in house as did Phil but then air out their laundry ... But he will smile and some people will kiss his ass and ignore his hypocrisy and tendency to quit on his failures like LAkers coaching, his comeback, his PResidency, and talk show

Magic confirms he was only talking about Rob when he talked about backstabbing, that Rob wanted his job.

Aside from Magic feeling betrayed by Rob, the biggest point is that he feels too many people were empowered by Jeanie and had a voice in the final decision making.

That Jeanie should’ve told Tim Harris to stay on the business side, that Jesse and Joey Buss needed to stay on their role.

Magic has alluded to it but won’t come out and say it, but it’s clear he believes all this could’ve been and should’ve been addressed and fixed by Jeanie but her inability to remove her emotional attachments and make a final decision caused it all to go downhill.
