Maybe now that the draft order is settled, We can narrow down to 3 players who the Magic are considering as their 1st round pick.

Man the Pelicans are going to be set for the next 10 years getting Zion plus trade AD to NY for Morant/Barrett holy crap that is a one two punch
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Randle/Okafor
Zion
?
Holiday
?/Elf

Is pretty interesting even without the returns for AD. You add in a Knicks deal of #3 (Barrett) + DSJr + Knox

Randle/Okafor
Zion/Knox
Barrett/?
Holiday
DSJr/Elf

That's a young team that could make noise.

i dont think NY trades all 3. remember, AD could walk away after 1 season. I think it will be #3 + player of choice.

AG is a nice player, JI is a defensive specialist with meh offensive game and Bamba is well he's TBD. That's what we have to show for the last 3 years

Maybe 2 picks.
They could easly end up having like 7th and 10th pick .
Also they are notorious when it comes to cap space, did any star ever signed there ? Dominique is only star ever who actually stayed there long time.

Bro this was first thing on my mind when i saw resuls.
It's crazy how luck can turn back on you .They could have had 1# and 4# pick in theory.
Ended up with 8th and 10th

I think this is going to have a interesting effect on if teams dodge being the 8th seed. Too much upside to being in the lotto and 0 upside to getting swept in the playoffs.

I bet the odds are altered in 5 years.

Except for maybe the Sixers, the lakes have been the luckiest team over the last decade.

Its pretty infuriating to think that if they weren't lucky enough to win the number 2 pick for three straight years this #4 pick would have been ours as we were owed their 2019 unprotected frp.

I'm talking about our 16th overall pick, narrow it down to 3 possible players who we are drafting at #16. I don't think Cam Reddish is going in the top 10 and I don't want him if he was available at #16.

I narrowed down 3 players to

Nickell Alexander
TY Jerome
Tyler Herro

Cuban is probably laughing his a** off

biggest losers: Hawks, Suns
winners: Lakers, Pele, Memphis

If you are Memphis you are getting Morant, you have Conley to teach him everything for another year and you are set for future with JJJr and him. You still have Conley and Valenchunas ( and Bradley ) to give you nice vet presence .

I fully expect a wing player to be selected.

So my list is:
Romeo Langford, SG, Indiana
Nassir Little, F, North Carolina
Nickeil Alexander-Walker, G, Virginia

Amazing that New York at #3 could be getting the best player in this draft with RJ Barrett.

Still rather be in Atlanta’s position. Chance to get 2 more rookie contracts and build with Trae Huerter Collins + Cap Space.

Martins screwed us and Henny didn’t have the balls to tell him to slag off. Henny then made moronic moves for the playoff push 3 years too early.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

I understand that, even back when i posted orginal post my point was that they still could end up with 2 mediocre lottery picks over two great ones that they wanted/expected at that point.
They might package 2 picks to move up in draft if they really like one player but overall this lottery has been huge fukery for them.

They could have had won lottery with their, and draft 9th with Dallas pick.

My mistake about two top 5, forgot Dallas couldn't draft from 5-8 range. (also pick was top 5 not 3 protected but that does not impact drafting position as they could not land 6-8 range )

Wrong. Lakers got the 4th pick because the NBA needs to take care of their Money Maker. Lebron cried a great deal last season.
