But does that beat a package of 3/Knox/DSJ/Frank/Robinson/2021 DAL 1st/2023 DAl 1st? I think LAL could have an edge in the talks since you guys are more willing to go all in since you have LBJ already. NYK should be slightly hesitant since they don't have a guarantee that a top FA or two will come. Boston has a good package if they are willing to include both Tatum and Brown plus all their picks and Smart as filler but I don't know if they are willing to go that far or not and NOP may still prefer the LAL godfather offer they could make.

For NY and BOS, that’s a lot of assets to risk losing for a potential one year rental.

Really doubt Lakers would make such a promise at this point. Phoenix is the team with the obvious PG need. Bulls have Lavine locked up for while and Cavs just drafted Sexton. But why would Garland shut it down just to go to Phoenix?

Why is only drafting the pick considered a gift? If we could get say..... 2 top stars and part with the pick we're a much better team. A top 5 draft pick is by no means a sure thing. Russell was only the 5th top 5 pick since 2000 to make an all star team and only 2 of the others have made multiple ones.

That guy Tacko played at my school UCF as well as Aubrey Dawkins. I think though the Orlando Magic are going to try to draft him in the 2nd round or sign him as an undrafted free agent. Hopefully the Magic can keep both Tacko and Aubrey Dawkins in Florida.
