this literally might be the toughest year to win a ring for us, philly went all in and will probably lose a player. Boston will probably implode and start a semi rebuild, milwaukee has like 4 key guys going into free agency, not sure they will pay them.

Siakam's improvement come next seasons playoffs would also make us much better.

If he commits longterm the only contracts that will be on the team of any value by 2021 is Siakam and Kawhi both getting max or near max in Siakam's case (Plus Norman but we'll get rid of him by then I bet) leaving Masai a bunch of money to make whatever team he desires, he could even go for Giannis.

It would certainly help to fatigue him, and throw the Bucks' secondary players out of rhythm.

seriously, against our big bodies he takes tough shots man, if he makes them cudos but have gasol sit in the paint and make him finish over him, why tf we gonna make gasol run in to help and run back out to the 3 point line

Lowry and Gasol are on the downslope though.

downwards compared to what tho, what they are doing now they could easily do next season. With Gasol I think a training camp and a full season finding ways to get him going a bit more would do wonders for him.

They might be as good next year which would make it one of the best years for us to win. But after that I think they start to get washed. With that said easy to rebuild team around Kawhi-Siakam and cap space.

he could build a more efficient team that fits to kawhi and siakams strengths, the role players they both would be good with are also the same type of players.

If I'm Masai that's the pitch I'm giving Kawhi besides the obvious. They will have unlimited potential cap wise in just two seasons. Right in time for Giannis's next extension.

We have to make a point on not over helping on Giannis when he drives to the paint. Lopez and the rest of the Bucks not named Giannis should not get in rythmn from the 3 easily.

As far as I'm concerned this is a must win game. We need to steal a game on the road to have a chance this series.

and tbh we don't even need giannis, kawhi is good enough where you could build a contender with high end role guys he would also have input into the types of guys he would want.

We almost won that game with our 2 top scorers both playing like hot garbage.

This is going to be a long series if the Raptors keep their mental composure.

First page real estate for the first time in my real gm career.

But it happened in the #2 game thread.

LOL GONNA re-post.

-Keep same defensive strategy
- keep FVV glued to bench or play as a spot up shooter only
- BOX OUT, DID YOU BOX OUT? DID YOU BOX OUT? I'm looking at you Gasol/Ibaka/Siakam- limit 2nd chance points and dumb turnovers with safer passes
- keep taking open looks with confidence, don't be indecisive
- use timeouts at the right time
- Sit Kawhi in the 3rd with 2 mins left, have him play start of 4th with bucks starters
- Need Lowry/Gasol to be aggressive and take open looks
- Know your role, don't try to create for team off dribble if that's not your game.. pass the *** ball or hold it and wait until teammate gets close to you to pass it off, no dumb passes (I'm looking at you Green and Ibaka)
- Siakam needs to take his open looks but don't force it with multiple guys on him, he got blocked a few times

We're gonna have to live with bucks taking contested shots, that's just how they play. If Giannis can't get in paint, they will continue launching them up. Giannis was bailed out quite a bit, his 24 points should really be 18 points.

Also *** Brook Lopez and his antics
