Demar giving them boys playoff tips, no wonder no one can shoot with good percentages or hit anything.

In the unreal life, I would reather keep Demar over Kyle.
if we are not able to keep Kawhi, can we sign Demar at 2021 offseason? he will be 30 year old and can still play some ball. but of course, he will not worth max by that time.

Now compare that with Casey. That man has been a petulant man-child. And it's more and more evident that it's bc of his ego rather than being forced out the city.
Or Bosh, making stuff up and snickering about it.
Or T-Mac, being two-faced about his time here, depending on who is interviewing him.

It's kind of telling when you compare past players that are media personalities and how they conduct(ed) themselves when talking about past teams or opposing players.

When outside looking in, always respected Demar. Always thought he had to carry a heavy partner. Unstoppable bunny, but just didn't develop that 3.

Always been a good guy, I'll always love Demar tbh and hope he can come back here one day.
Way better than trash guys we've had in the past trashing this Country/City because they are salty and have a loser mentality.

Good dude, I never had an issue with Demars personality. Outside any talk of basketball, I have nothing but respect for Demar and all recent former Raptors.
JV, Delon, Poetl, CJ Miles... all genuinely good dudes.

I'm honestly glad for Demar that he has kept those friendships up.
The good thing about BI is he can shoot over defenders.

It's funny how Casey is the least mature out of those who recently left

i agree Casey was petty, but what if you were fired after winning coach of the year and the guy who replaces you was your underling for many years prior? There has to be some animonisity there.
When Casey watches the raptors now he must think "damn that **** nurse is there right now because I gave him the chance in the first place"

DD is a stand up dude. Anyone would be caught off guard and emotional after a trade, when they wanted to be there forever.

It's annoying how a herd of sheep is following couple spin doctors here.
We didn't trade JV because he got hurt. That's such a baaaaaaaahd spin on it.
And we had home court the last 2 rounds. Do we get more home court or something for finishing better?
Your insanity has been already diagnosed, enjoy Marc and his bball IQ. Cause that's all that is left of him.
I'm not the one lying to himself so he sleep at night. Or the one that's been wrong for years.

Yup, that makes a lot of sense and I can totally understand. Talking about shift and you hire the assistant coach. It's indirectly saying that the 59 game season was a result of Nurse's offense and it was Casey that hindered the ability of the team to go further. People that could actually be empathetic to his situation already knew this and those that weren't have even more reason not to as a result of his behavior, so what's the point? In no way did it benefit him aside from venting his frustrations. He should have reserved his venting to his family.
Taking the high road would have actually benefited his career, what's done is done, focus on stuff you can control.

Re: Demar is watching the games and giving a little input to to the boys.
Demar would have been a great option as a secondary player to someone like Kawhi. He was one heck of an offensive player but struggled where Kawhi has excelled and that's hitting the big shot late in games. Here he was the first option and not quite the top dog that any team with championship aspirations needs to excel in this league. His defence wasn't elite or tough enough either but was probably impacted by how much effort he had to expend in our offensive end.
