Assuming we keep the pick, I just want somebody that can shoot 80% at the line... Is durable... And has some range.

I'm not 100% sure the Knicks take him.
I don’t know about the first part but agree that I’m not sure he’s a top 3 pick
Poor man's Wiggins.

If we keep the pick I hope it's Garland or Hunter. Those are the only 2 options in my eyes..

Latest report claims the Pelicans owner stated she would never trade AD to the Lakers. Looks like we might be keeping the 4th pick after all. I think it's time we move on from AD and stop wasting our time.

Hunter cant create off the dribble. I dont really want to waste a #4 pick on a 3 & D guy.

In regards to AD and gayle, it just proves that demps and the new GM are just puppets. Free agency Business requires intellect, not emotion.

What a funny thing to say or let leak, even if true that you ultimately will not, as it just wrecks a piece of your leverage

as far as actually drafting someone, right now I'm really either into Garland, Bol (who i think could help in year 1), and Rui (as a prospect to develop but not what Bron wants).

Yeah, it's pretty stupid to essentially take one of 2 teams with the most assets off the table...
It also has to be some sort of violation within the League...
If it's true, I would hope we don't even call. Let them deal with the Celtics and Knicks and end up with Smart, Brown and picks...
I'd go for Garland if AD is off the table... I wouldn't trade the pick for anyone else I can think of. I'd rather give another year to Ingram than dump assets for Beal... I think there's a good chance that no matter where he ends up, the difference between Ingram and Beal from an on court perspective might be negligible, if it isn't outright flipped....

Totally in on Beal. Honestly I agree with the post stating "imagine if we had no Bron, and we were this rich with youth and assets.
If NY is in play for the big FA's so would we. All the 1 year deals actually screwed us up a bit for a Beal trade.

We won't ditch LeBron, so lets just go get (Butler/Kemba or lucky FA), keep #4 and draft Garland or Bol (don't care if he's projected lower) and have something for the future still.

Proof is in the pudding... this is why the Pelicans have not been able to build a winning franchise and culture since she inherited the team...

The players on the floor have nothing to do with it at all..... They have had a lot of talent there but no leader IMHO.
