Brogdon and Randle would be great pickups. I’ve loved Harris for years, but I’d rather have both Brogdon and Randle over Harris and a lower end free agent. Plus they both (Randle being up and down in this regard) can play defense. I don’t want a player who gets exposed time and time again because those players are unplayable in the playoffs and it will cause contention in the locker room when Rudy yells at them.

Also....I’m a big no on Conley or Jrue. 25-30 million for those guys is too much. No thanks. Rather offer Brogdon 20 million if that’s what it takes to sign him .

I think Bucks will have to pay Middleton this summer too, so that factors in to how much they will be willing to match for Brogdon.

Brogdon and Randle would be an incredible offseason. Unfortunately I don't see the bucks letting go of Brogdon.

Hot take - I'd take Brogdon over Middleton.

I agree.

I know lots of peeps on here don’t like Locke, or listen often, but he has been going through the numbers of the various players and I am convinced we need a guard more than a big. I believe the trickle down effect would be more valuable. We need to help Donovan be relieved of constant ball handling duties and I love keeping a high level defensive guard like Brogdon to stop the point of attack. We have to improve the offense, but I don’t want to see the defense slip while adding offense. We need to keep the defense and improve the offense...I know....shocking insight. And moving Ingles into the main sixth man would be wonderful for our bench unit.

A Brogdon, Donovan, Royce, Randle, Gobert lineup with Ingles, Exum, Crowder, Allen, and a back up big off the bench would be a solid 10 man rotation. Then sign as many big wings like Thabo as we can.

Do you think Thabo is someone we resign at the end? Or do you think he gets more looks and offers elsewhere?

I wonder if he's going to retire. He's very old, and dealing with injuries.

If Butler leaves than Philly offers the max. If Butler stays about 4-7 teams would happily offer Tobias the max. I don’t see any scenario he doesn’t get the max. He will have his choice of where he plays. Utah only has an advantage because we are team that would utilize him either the best/most or easily one of the best. We also would get him a bunch of touches.

Probably not on equal money, but on what they will likely get.

I have no idea what Brogdon would get in RFA. I'm convinced that he won't even take any meetings and sign with MIL for a team friendly deal. Do you have a guess?

Keep in mind that Brogdon is 26, Middleton is 27.

Brogdan is looking very good this playoffs. I'd love to front load a deal with him to try to get him free. Recency bias, but his percentages make me happy.

Yes, I'm hooked on Brogdon after that shot and defense. He's Mitchell's backcourt running mate.

I'd make him our opening move this offseason to see if the Bucks match. (unless we have a meeting with a bigger free agent).

If the Bucks make the finals I expect them to keep both Middleton and Brogdon, even if they are getting maxed.

I think there is zero chance they let Brogdon leave, no matter the cost.

Could be right. But I think they might have to make some hard choices. They're already at 130, with Mirotic at 12.5, Middleton at 13, Lopez at 3.4, Brogdan at 1.5 (restricted), Teletovic at 10.5, Meeks 3.5, Gasol .3, Fazier .2. I think they're at about 100 already without resigning any of the expirers.

Mitotic will be the odd man out.

I suspect they keep Brgodon, Middleton, and Lopez. In that order. Everyone else they can probably part with and replace fairly easily.

Yeah, you're right. I hate to admit it, wishful thinking on my part. But maybe an overpay opening bid on Brogdon is still worth it.
