I don't know who would say that. There's a reason (well, a few) that he's part of one of the greatest team's core 4.

I mean, I guess maybe people could get into arguments over where he is among SG's in terms of total talent - how HIGH on the list - he'd be high in any event. His style would help any team, but with willing passers like Dray, Curry, Iggy and then a creator/passer like Curry, it's perfect.

GSW are a combination of really great players who also fit great with each other. Or, I guess their passing and unselfishness and team oriented basketball would be really helpful to any team, but then put 4 guys like that one one team and it's exponentially great.

Other than the fact that sometimes the GSW's have that modern athlete issue of being annoyingly cocky at times, anyone who liked the championship Knicks or any classic Celts team or the Bulls or showtime Lakers or any of Don Nelsons creations, should like this team the last 5 years.

Oh it was an opinion here and I was aggressively called out by some dudes for saying he does create shots off the ball.

Why? I'm enjoying this Warriors team without KD.

Which one or two people said that? Because it can't be too many people who thought the core of a 73 win team wasn't good.

I should have been specific. Not on the board. I have friends who were trashing Klay when they lost the two games in HOU. I kept saying “you forgot he was the #2 on a championship team that won 73 games rhebnext year”. They, like many NBA fans, are prisoners of the moment.

I'm not...We all do it in different areas...sometimes we put so much focus on one thing (KD's play) that we forget
about others (Curry, Dray, Klay and the original team as a whole and their capabilities). I didnt- probably because
the Warriors are one of my side teams...

Talking about ppl in my life not the board

But I would do it for ppl on the board too

Totally. They said curry wasn't top 10, Klay was a role player who can't create a shot nor dribble the ball, Draymond's overrated and not worth a big contract. They said it. Now they don't remember. I do.

Yo, Steph is top 3 all time, and Klay > Kyrie. Draymond's is a moron, but he's the **** too. While being an idiot, at least he's real.

Lots of turncoats around here lately.

I meant in my life. Should have been clear. There were ppl on the board who said dumb stuff like that? Yikes

Curry's definitely top 5 all time for me. Never seen a player collapse the defense and be as dominant since prime Shaq.

MJ and then Curry, Kareem, LeBron and Magic, in no particular order.

Curry really wouldn't be eligible without some outrageous numbers (like if he was getting 30+ppg, 20 apg) with his defensive woes.

IMO Shaq > Bron but perhaps that is for a different day/talk.

Curry top shooter all time, top 5 offensive weapon for sure. Not top 5 all-around.

Yeah I dont necessarily do that (rate players all-time) but I'll say this...it would be between Giannis and Curry if I had to draft one player to start a franchise...

GS with KD is like a cheat code.

They are obviously still a great team even without him

Yeah - this year the chemistry seems a little wonky with him but I didn't forget about the other years either.

I do enjoy them more with Curry as the lead but it's because they seem possibly beatable.

That's why it doesn't matter where you pick so long as you PICK THE RIGHT GUY. There are so many excellent non-lottery drafted players in the league. We could probably make a championship-level team out of the group.

And when KD isn't playing, it just becomes a different style of basketball which is very entertaining to watch. It seems to me like the ball/player movement picks up another notch or two. And Draymond running around all over the court making plays has just got to motivate the other players. Dude never gives up. Gotta love that.

Wow, I had no idea that people were dissing the other Warriors because of KD's presence. That's crazy.
