Re: Fan offends KD by celebrating Warriors win
Can't understand why people don't see that KD is a genious.
Everything is motivation to him. He uses tweets of some nobodies for motivation ffs.
I remember MJ had to use some imaginary stories for that. Lebron used ghosts. Curry is the king of "Never too high never too low" mantra. Kobe just went with his assholish egoistical alterego called "black mamba". Duncan relied on Manu and Pop for that.
KD uses social media hatred, which is the most easy way. Even in this he's efficient.

Well, i think he logged in with the wrong account again.
Kind of embarassing.
Also, he is talking about dub nation, but it seems he is packing his bags.
I wish him nothing but well, but he is better away from posting on social media

I think it’s pretty darn cool an all time great pro player is so accessible and authentic. Wish more were.
This would be petty from a rec league teammate, much less a HOF'er in the Western Conference championship series...

Absolutely. Interacting with/replying to the hot takes of 15 year olds on social media is very ill advised.
He is probably reacting to the ludicrous overall current narrative that GSW don’t need him though. They certainly needed him for 2 of the 4 wins against Houston, and haven’t needed him so far against an exhausted team with a best player who has fractured ribs. GSW will definitely need him against the Bucks should something quite untoward not stop them getting to the finals, and are totally screwed without him next year, with getting him to leave probably an agenda for some of those in the pervasive internet lynch mobs.

Like him or not, nobody has a better personality than KD.
Nobody gives more interesting interviews....
He is the human headline
And he makes those headlines without breaking any laws.

As strongly as I dislike the Warriors, if we find out that Durant is out for the rest of the playoffs, I'll be strongly considering jumping on the GS bandwagon. It's intriguing to think of what it'll do to him if they win the title with him sidelined.

Re: Fan offends KD by celebrating Warriors win
I have defended KD here all the time as I've had no issues with his decision, but there's no defending this comment. He's so worked up over his own reputation that he can't be happy about praise for his teammates. that's just sad

Re: Fan offends KD by celebrating Warriors win
Why is he so sensitive about his teammates success? These guys sacrificed personal accolades for team success and allowed Durant to be the hero even though the original core built this Warriors title machine.
He would be a lot more likable if he built up and credited his teammates. Just say the PC stuff like “these guys are unbelievable teammates, next man up, we always believe we can win”. But in Durant’s world he wants all the credit.
He must be a miserable person to be around.

Stuff like that happens in confrontations all the time.
Someone shoves you, you shove back, a guy standing nearby gets the brunt, etc.
Not defending KD, just saying I get why he reacted that way. Maybe that does mean I'm defending him? Don't know, just saying.
No sir. Prime Nick Kerr is a Twitter account that was quoting a screen of an exchange that happened on Instagram. EasyMoneySniper is KD's Instagram name (KDTrey5 is his Twitter). The tone of the rest of the Instagram comments may have influenced him though.

"LMAAOOOOOO KD" was what the guy said with the screenshot of KD's comment. It came after KD's comment.
Holy crap. I guess I misread it then. Confusing. I'm used to reading from the top down, didn't notice the guy quoted an IG convo on twitter. Why did he have to top post it though? You can't bottom post on twitter to keep idiots like me from getting the timeline confused?

Looks like this is where the exchange went down lol:

mjacquez2330's comment is still there, but it looks like easymoneysniper has already deleted his reply

I understand insecurity... but insecurity to the point that you repeatedly turn to social media to defend yourself with public comments, knowing how it will be perceived by players and fans, is quite astonishing for someone of his caliber. I honestly wish he just hired 1000 people to defend him on social media.

Re: Fan offends KD by celebrating Warriors win
I'm not saying the Warriors are better off without Durant, but they can win the title without him.
Curry + Draymond pick and roll and Klay Thompson catch and shoot is enough offense to win the title. Then you got Iggy Dray and Klay as elite defenders too.
It's not throwing shade at KD, its literally just pointing out of the obvious.

It would probably shock me more if the wasn’t a 70 year old president about 100x worse
