Hughes is so poised, his stuff is so good, and he knows it. He is not a thrower but a pitcher... His control is a little off tonight, but he is not rattled at all, and the late movement on his fastball is great..

If only scott proctor had movement on his fastball. he would still be a yankee... but bettimit is not a bad pickup..

And his command has been pretty off today too. He has terrific stuff and he has brass balls.

I have no worries about Hughes. These are growing pains.
