But trading him for skates is possible, and would free up money for Green.
Ohhhhhhh we're back to the bizzaro world. Ok gotcha, this is where I bow out.

I love him and all, but there is no way he's worth a max contract on the pistons. He's in the prefect situation for him right now. He can make all the hustle plays and make the smart pass to some of the best shooters the league has ever seen. It wouldn't look the same if he was firing that pass to langston and reggie instead of Klay and Curry.

Anyway, doesn't really matter. We don't have cap space. Even if we did have cap space, he's not signing here at 30 to be part of a rebuild.

Draymond has been a great fit on the Warriors but he is going to want to get PAID! I guess there is a world where we could trade Drummond for him but I don't see that happening. I also think it is a mistake - even if Gores says we are not going to do a full rebuild, we still need to get good younger players on rookie contracts. Otherwise we continue to have bad contracts and are stuck. The latter years of a Draymond deal will not be pretty. Sure he is a smart player, but he also relies on athleticism playing D and that will start to fade. Two year deal? Sure. 5 year max? Bad move.

That roster is just as ass and more expensive. So why?

By the way, Leuer for some mythical SF huh?

1. This roster would be Not more expensive but a Better Basketball Team
2. No mystical sf but there are some possobilities...i dont say that this guy would be a differance maker
3. It would be a possible offseason in comparison to others

We have no chance of trading for green unless he demands a trade or KD says he is only starting if Green is moved. I don't think either of those are likely.

We have a small chance of signing green next off-season if we offer him the max and GS tries to low ball him with a less than max offer.

We would have to not sign players to long deals this summer, just one year deals so we have max cap space next summer. One of the options this team should be considering is to maximize cap space for next summer to build around Blake and Luke.

Of course green is only semi realistic..only if he wants a change after the 4 th Ring...
But this is not a nba2k offseason....more realistic than 90 percent of all offseason ideas i saw the last 10 years

Home state, sure, but it's not like Detroit and Saginaw are that close. Auburn Hills would've been a bit closer. ;)

I think this thread will become more relevant at the end of his next contract, so don't delete it. LOL
