Great. That's the perfect direction for us to go, all the way to winning the 1987 championship.

May god have mercy on us all.

Thinking your being a little short sighted Rex. Bruno could shoot you just refuse to see it. He probably can shoot better then many of wings that will be available at 13 if given the chance. I know you love the fancy dribbling knuckle head but if you really want one of those we could just sign Lance to make em dance. Let's take Bruno and tackle the guard spot via trades and free agency.

No trades or free agency for us, you wanna draft a big? Dion is your long term guy. Be honest with yourself. It's Dion.

I'm not buying the "this guy never shoot 3's until now, but trust me he can develop it".

**** that. I'm still waiting on Bam's shooting. We need scorers now, we need creators, 3's hitting, FT getting, aggressive offensive players.

Not another Bam next to our Bam.

I agree that we need all these things but why force one at 13 when we have a better talent at hand even if it means at a position that might not be to your liking. Athletic bigs like Fernando who can do it all have a place in this game more then ever. Do you want a 6'6 guy trying to cover the Giannis's and Durant's of the world on the perimeter. Having guys like Bam and Fernando give us a fighting chance versus guys like that. Fernando beat the so called most athletic big in Jaxson Hayes at the combine in almost every athletic measurable. The guy moves like a gazelle for his size.

I can't believe Romeo is still in a cast. Even when that thing comes off it's natural for the hand to have atrophy. I'm not expecting him to shoot well right out of the cast either. He's going to have a hard time during workouts

We're drafting to have building blocks for the future. I believe Bam is a good building block for the future that fills a similar role to Bruno. I think Bruno is a fantastic prospect just like I think Bam is a great prospect.

The disconnect comes in with the idea that you think Bam & Bruno are compatible to be on the floor together for stretches, where others think it is overlap in the game today.

I agree that athletic bigs like Fernando and Bam who can do it all have a place in this game. But, it is at the center position. There is one place for these bigs in an optimal lineup.

I believe there are enticing wing prospects at 13 with as much upside (or more) than Bruno that can fit as potential building blocks. Bruno has a higher floor than most of them. That is for sure.

Honestly feel like he should be the guy for us, not Uber athletic but he’s crafty enough to get a bucket and is long which gives him defensive potential. Like someone said in here, he seems like a D’Angelo Russell mold without the shooting (but better at attacking the rim) and without the passing vision. We don’t know exactly how good he is at shooting yet though guess we’ll see through these workout but like you said I doubt he’s gonna be excellent after just getting out of the cast.

The potential tandem of Bayo and Nando could be compared to the pairing of Sabonis and Turner. Sabonis and Turner don't work well with each other but Turner's not a good passer and Sabonis barely attempted 3s. Together, Turner and Sabonis had a combined 3-point attempt rate of about 27.5%. Both Bayo and Nando have the ability to pass and could develop 3-point shots. Same goes for Clarke.

I don't think he is really a punt. He's only 18 - has really started to turn it on at a high level before some adjustment.

I do agree and really like Bruno, however I think this kid could be a guy like our organization likes. Very very well liked kid, already a pro, not worried about his shot developing like a guy like Clarke or Nassir.

Remember he is also a legit 6'9 at 18, he may end up closer to 6'11 if he is not done growing. If you take out the fact that he is not playing in the USA right now (which a lot of forward thinking organizations are beginning to do) he really does make a ton of sense for us.

No matter what rookie we draft, knowing us he probably won't start or be asked to carry too big a role. Look at Bam a few years ago. It's our history with rookies. To let this young kid sit around and practice everyday against Winslow, JRich and ESPECIALLY Bam and DJJ i could see him becoming a really good piece.

^^ reading that paragraph, I tried to imagine different names fitting that narrative and the only one that it really did that for other than Sekou was Bruno. I think Rui would be more of a plug and play 3. Probably better now, less upside.

I have given up on the hope of finding our leading scorer at 13 - I think Langford's absolute peak is Josh Richardson - so I'd rather get yet another very solid prospect to have in house for 2021.

Bring one home to us Riles....

What's the book on Bazley? Based off the very little I've seen he looks like an amazing prospect. I know he opted for a New Balance "internship" this year rather than playing college ball. But, damn, his toolset seems immense.

Anyone got good a scouting report or insight?

That shooting stroke looks PRETTTTTTTYYYYYYYY

Could see him being a Booker type player if that thing really becomes consistent.
