John Wick 3 was absolutely fantastic.

It was my favorite of the trilogy thus far. The action set pieces in 3 are absolutely amazing.

Spoiler:
I'm not sure what my deal was but I couldn't connect with this one like the last two. Felt like they were grasping at straws from a plot perspective by the end. Fight scenes were well choreographed but just didn't get me super excited. Feel like maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind for this one. I wanted more depth to the 'hero's journey' he's on but left feeling unsatisfied.
I know that's not the overarching point of the movie. It's about fights and action but I wanted something more.

Spoiler:
I mean, from a plot point John Wick kind of ends up in the same place after 3 that he was at the beginning of 3, maybe a little worse off now. He has the high-table coming for him now after failing to kill Winston. I thought the Winston heel turn was unexpected. So overall from a plot perspective, not much happened in regard to advancing Wick's plot, so I do agree with you there.

I did think the last fight scene dragged on a little bit too long, with the repeated disappearing acts. I thought the fight scene with Halle Berry, the final Continental with the armored soldiers, and the throwing-knives encounter were all absolutely fantastic.

Idk, I just really like the world that they have created with these movies. I'm also just a big Keanu fan, both of the actor and the person, so I watch most of his movies with rose-colored glasses  .

Spoiler:
Agree on all your points. I too heart Keanu and will see the next one just because of him. I do enjoy the universe they have created as well. Not a Halle Berry fan. Not sure why?

I'd almost rather they completely ignore TLJ and act like it didn't happen rather than trying to retcon all the stupid sh*t johnson did.

I have no regrets w/r/t watching the last couple years of GoT. Do you guys remember what TV drama was like before Sopranos? You could take those last three seasons as a standalone and they'd still EASILY be in the top 10% of all the TV that's ever been produced.

This is the kind of stuff I missed from GOT - really great character development moments:

Charles Dance was as good in GoT as anyone has ever been in any TV show.

Charles Dance and Diana Rigg were riveting in pretty much every scene they had on the show.

Really liked John Wick 3, though the movie would be about two hours shorter if so many killers hadn't brought knives to the gun fight.

Chernobyl has been awesome so far

Probably means little to you guys, right? I have memories of the newspapers in Greece telling us to avoid veggies and milk due to radiation, and the communist party youth eating strawberries in public to show everybody there is no reason to worry LOL

Regardless, a very well made show by HBO. Very realistic, great actors, great story line.

The GOT "Kinda forgot" memes are great. Will miss the memes the most.

This is some of Root's best work and that's saying something. He's nuts good in the finale.

Saw the finale last night. Holy ****. Root, Henry Winkler and Jon Hader are great. This show can go from funny to brutal in an instant.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I’ve been rewatching Veep with my wife (she had never seen it) and we have finally started the final season. I’m going to miss this show so much. I’m glad they left before they lost interest in it though.

Also, what a pathetic and unneeded cover of Bjork's "Hunter".
