I think he can play the 3. He is really athletic and I think his shooting form translates into an improving jumper especially after shooting 77 percent from the free throw line.

Seems small for my taste.
Kemba is short for his position, Miles is going to be short for his (in this scenario), and Cody is small for a Center.
You're stacking size issues at that point that need to be corrected. and you're playing two forwards who haven't proven to be offensive threats or reliable shooters. That's another issue.
If he could've proven to be a better/more prolific shooter in college, it'd be more palatable for me to see him at the 2 assuming Lamb leaves. Kemba needs a guy in that Lamb mold next to him. Little just doesn't do much for me and screams "bench role player".

Bridges was 18th in balloting for a 10 man all rookie team. I can understand him not making it, but 18th? Come on now..

I'm a big fan of self-awareness. You can't improve if you don't admit and acknowledge your weaknesses.

Re: Birdland Presents - The Miles Bridges Thread
I don’t think Miles was the 18th best rookie. I would put him on second team. If you just looked at the last quarter of the season, it would be a lock. But I really appreciate his attitude on it. He looks like he will be really good. I hope Monk can start to catch up to where we thought he might be as well.

After watching the hendo highlights, I realised miles has a ton of work to do to even match his mediocre career

Miles improved as the season went along. He improved his shot, finishing, rebounding and even playmaking as we approached the end of the season. He didn’t have a great season, but he’s got a lot of potential and the arrow is certainly pointed up.

I wouldn't hate a version of Hendo that has Bridges' body and shot more threes and less midrange

People must have forgotten what Hendo looked like his first couple years in the league. Even after 3 years at Duke.

Miles is already as good of a shooter as Henderson was at any point in his career save the last couple years. Bridges is also a better defender. I think Bridges has way more upside than Henderson did coming out of college.

Re: Birdland Presents - The Miles Bridges Thread
I can't agree with this. I'm no Henderson fan, but I do think he was a better all-around Defender Than Miles has shown so far. Miles still gets lost way too easily on defense. And while miles Maybe a more willing 3-point shooter, Henderson was a much better shooter from mid-range.

Re: Birdland Presents - The Miles Bridges Thread
I don't remember Hendo being such an amazing defender as a rookie. I do remember Him being good at that as time went on though. I'm willing to see if Miles can do better in year 2+.
