I want to give credit to everyone, including the guys who aren't having their shots fall. What Toronto is doing to the best offense in the league when they get them into their half court offense is nothing short of suffocating. So even the guys who aren't shooting the ball well aren't letting it get to them on the other end. Gasol and Siakim were wrecking fools in the late 4th quarter. Fred is a pest who somehow convinces Giannis to kick it back out even though he is posting up a guy 4 feet shorter than him. It's just an amazing effort by everyone.

Siakam had a bunch of great defensive plays and some bone headed ones. We really need him to attack now that Giannis isn't on him. We could blow this team out if he just gets back to attacking quickly.

Go look at that 60 win Hawks team roster. Coaching matters a ton. It can't hide your flaws in the playoffs though.

Coaching hardly matters in the playoffs. I agree that it makes a difference during the RS with the correct system, but coaches barely have an impact in real games.

I was referring to their post-season success and how they were up 2-0 on a great Raps team. I guess Boston being a disaster and playing a lottery-caliber Detroit helped.
