Haven’t missed a minute and it’s less stressful not having a dog in the fight, but still edge of my seat.

I suppose if GSW just smashes TOR 4-0 then the song remains the same (Led Zep reference duly noted).

Cant say. Gsw is known for making money for vegas. Theyll find a way to make the outcome unpredictable

Difference between Giannis and Kawhi is like difference between Biid and Butler.

Biid is better but is inexperienced. Butler knows how to pace himself and know how to set himself to attack. Butler skillset is also more refined, so it gives him more consistency.

Kawhi's experience helps, but the fact that he scores from all three levels and can play off the ball when asked makes him a far more useful offensive talent than Giannis.

We’re also limited. Biid is inefficient on offense during playoffs. Ben is reduced to a role player. Tobias suddenly isnt a good spot up shooter.

Not at all. The fact it went passed 5 games was impressive for Philly. Philly is more limited than the bucks

Giannis is a manufactured superstar basically, he is like a rich man Joel Embiid. Travels and pushes all the time, but the league is desperate to find the next marketable player so they let him do that.

I can't watch this game without thinking we should be in the finals. I'm salty.

Yep. Lots of after the fact salt over here, too. And the salt remains until Kawhi has officially packed his bags out of Canada (I’m quietly perturbed by the fact that this run might be enough for him to stay).

Yep. Lots of after the fact salt over here, too. I really want GSW to just kick the living **** out of the Raps.

But even if they do, is a Finals trip what Kawhi needed to stay? So the salt probably remains until Kawhi has officially packed his bags out of Canada.

Kawhi wasn't the issue imo. He's amazing, he's **** tier Jordan, but Embiid being sick, us having no backup and the team not really having any time to gel really did us in.

Embiid being sick and Brogdon defending kawhi better as anyone on our team.

I edited my response. It’s not Game 7 that irks me as much as the fact that now Kawhi might re-sign. And the Sixers were one bucket from sending him to LA.

Don't torture yourself and think of it that way. The Sixers shouldn't be in the Finals. If a horrible call by a ref screwed the Sixers over in the final minute or something, or Embiid got hurt and had to leave the game in the 4th quarter, you could say "Damn, we had it!"

The Sixers have no one to blame but themselves. If they were good enough they'd have won the series. Great teams find a way. They had it and choked. They didn't deserve to be in the ECF, and certainly don't deserve to be in the NBA Finals.

There have been plenty of times in my Philly sports life where I felt we "should" have done so and so, awful calls, injuries, etc. The Saints vs Eagles most recent playoff game was one of them. But the Raptors series was not. It was there for the taking, they weren't good enough. Maybe next year.

And I hope Toronto re-signs Kawhi, I think they deserve to keep him after making the trade.

I think this series shows that you guys would have beat the bucks. You guys had a lot of toughness that Milwaukee just doesn’t have. Bucks didn’t have enough tough competition to prepare for a series against us or the 76ers

The only thing this does for me is let me know exactly how close we are actually are. Considering that Ben and JoJo are still growing as players and Tobias and Jimmy had limited time to gel with the rest of the team just gives me a ton of confidence for next season. We definitely need to run em back because I think we can get this done next year.
