There's a Terrance Mann in the draft?

Gotta take him.

Shaping up to be a ton of big man value at 30, as it stands.
Best case / steal of the draft level: Kabengele
Rebounder / rim runner / good value: Fernando / Gafford
High upside / skilled w/ length: Bassey
Neemius Queta will be picked in the 25-45 range, and the Bucks will be working him out. Hard worker, 7' with 7'4 wingspan, shows some shooting range. Productive as a freshman at Utah State. Rare Portuguese talent, pretty unknown.

Queta has some intriguing tools... Moves well, enormous frame, and plays with an edge. Don't know that he'd be on my shortlist at 30 but I could definitely see him making it.

Definitely have discussed him in this thread, but yeah he's kind of in that same boat as Bassey for me. A lot to like.

He's got a real knack for blocking shots and gets super exited and pumped up when he swats one. That is a skill all the elite rim protectors share. Not saying he's going to be one, but just something I have in my notes. In the end to me it comes down how projectable his jumper is. He's made some 3's but he's been pretty bad from the line. What number holds true?

I would say Jerome but I feel like a good physical profile is part of the equation, too. Maybe Windler?

Who was the last above average wing that we had? Desmond Mason? Are there any Michael Jordan/Vince Carter/Tracy McGrady types that will be there for our pick?

I know you're joking but watch some Bazley, Okpala, and Lou King highlights and tell me what you think.

No MJ but Kevin Porter is a perennial all star level talent if his head is right, which everyone seems to agree it is not.

From my cursory, Youtube scout:
Bazely won't be there for us. If there are 29 better prospects, this is a deep draft.
Lou King looks good and seems to fit what I would like to do.
I dunno about Okpala. Seems like a "Bucks DNA" kinda guy, though.

It’s really not a deep draft, just a lot of guys with some talent but also some gaping holes in their games so just a matter of which teams value which skills. There are also some high floor but lower ceiling type guys. I think draft boards are going to be wildly different and teams will reach. Some team will take Thon ahead of Sabonis and Prince, others will take Ellenson ahead of Levert and Brice Johnson ahead of Siakam but I’m pretty sure there will still be Brogdon level talent on the board at our pick.
