Speaking of DSJ’s athleticism, I thought this clip was cool

Kd an kyries incoming arrival changes things my man. I've stated this repeatedly before.

It'd be one thing if your opinion changed over time, but every other day you got a new opinion on dudes, and it ain't just RJ, it's every single guy in the draft

Reading your posts is like watching a tennis match, one day you hate this guy, love that guy, next day you switch up, then the next day you switch back

as long as he stops putting bol bol at the top of his list i can't be too mad. i am grading on a curve.

One thing I often forget is that the summer leading into a players roomie season is a mental prep and slightly physical prep summer.

Major lifestyle changes. Money, fame, pressure, next level play and teammates and conditioning and all that

Most guys who get mins as rookies don’t have major opportunity for improving their games mid season. They play and adjust but it’s really the summer after the rookie season when the major improvements happen.

I’m hopeful that Knox will come into next year a different player.

He’s so young, seems committed, is working with coach already and his physicality is great for his age

Robinson we saw in season growth already from.
I expect to see some offensive development this summer.

I’m excited about the young guys

With Kyrie and Rozier potentially leaving BOS, would they be interested in DSJ?

DSJ + 2 2nds + cash for #14?

ITs so amazing how’s much more value the pick pick has then the player drafted so much of the time

We’re talking about the 9th pick who’s shown some real promise and has two seasons under his belt for the 14th and we’re throwing in 2 2nds

Also being discussed is the 8th pick, frank, for anything including a 2nd

Man the potential vs the reality of the draft

I personally think you’re selling very low on dsj to Boston

the NBA is all about shooting now...you can't throw out that lineup and expect to win with no ability to shoot the basketball from 3 regardless of that teams athleticism.

Knox projects to be a good shooter. RJ doesn’t have to be lights out from day 1. It’s not like he doesn’t want to do other things like make plays and get to the rim. Our PF has to be a good shooter for sure. Not sure who we will put there. I would like one of the Morris bro’s if they don’t want too much $. As far as the Pg positing let’s hope DSJ improves. This is based on if we don’t get KD and Kyrie.

oh of course if you add Kyrie and KD it changes everything because those are two of the most efficient outside shooters in the game. I was speaking the original roster construction because while Knox projects to be a decent shooter, he just wasn't a good shooter last year.

RJ isn't a good shooter right now either and DSJ is pretty bad from the perimeter as well.

Cam is still my guy and garland is my fav point guard in the draft but I’d still have to take RJ or morant over them with this top 3 pick. Go with the more proven players that played at a high level. We suck to much to overthink it

I wish DJ Augustine was available. Darren Collison should prob be a target too. They prob too old but we need shooting at that position.

The wouldn't be efficient primarily due to youth and inexperience, but they would find ways to score. I also disagree about them from three, DSJ and Knox will take them, RJ probably would in time, but he has many other ways to put up points.

If we were staying on the youth movement I'd roll with that lineup because I know they will willingly take shots. Mitch would have to start shooting as well.

I don't think you'll have to worry about DSJ getting traded unless he's a throw in.

Nobody is breaking down the door for a poor shooting, defensive liability guard who thinks it's beneath him to come off the bench.

You miss 100% of the ones you don't take. They wont be JJ Reddick from three anytime soon, but willingness to take them will improve them. I'd rather see them take and miss some than just be out there and wont take any at all, or just too scared to shoot.

Take Knox for example, he finished the season somewhere around 34%. He can definitely improve on that. Trier for instance was close to 40% despite not having a volume sample.

I’m not even going to waste my time quoting that awful Hunter post. Hunter doesn’t have the lateral quickness to be a full time 3 & his shooting numbers are on a SSS from 3 and cant be trusted.

Surprised at the poll. As an outsider looking in, there is no doubt the pick would go to New Orleans in a New York minute. But something about being a fan makes you attached to the kids in the draft more so..

Return to New York Knicks
