Honestly it makes zero sense. Curry is also super religious, if one happens to lose and the other wins, it means god hates the loser?

His faith is his personal relationship with god. He's not rubbing it in anyones face. No need to overanalyze.

Hard to disagree with you but given he's had some personal issue that has kept him away from the team for an extended period maybe his faith helped him through something more than sports recently.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Warriors will be very tough to beat.

But the media is already acting like the series is over.

Fact is we had a tougher path to the finals this year and we have the best defense in the league.

Bucks were no joke...they had one of the highest point differentials in the league history and won 60 games. They decimated the Celtics in the East Semi's and people were talking about them and serious threats to the Warriors. All of a sudden we expose the Bucks and the media acts like the Bucks were a bunch of inexperienced scrubs.

Media needs to acknowledge that we won 58 games despite Kawhi, Lowry, Fred and OG missing a quarter of the season...despite JV missing 3 months before the Gasol trade...despite having 22 different starting line-ups this season. If we were healthy this season there is no doubt we would have been a 65-70 win team.

Will be a close series that can go either way.

I'm going through all the different scenarios of the warriors and us playing. I swear we can beat this team. Just slow down Draymond and we have a shot. We are an elite defensive team that has high iq, long players. We have the personnel to win this.

Not suggesting he'd play much. Maybe like 3-4 minutes and provide a defensive spark. Maybe a get a steal or two. a possible (micro) x-factor.

Is Klay or Middleton a better defender?

being religious plays a role on psyche of an athlete. And psyche directly impacts how an athlete may perform in basketall. Just look at the changes in FVV's shot over the course of 48 hours.

Here is my take, GS has no rim protection and are in no way more dangerous from 3 than the bucks. If KD plays like 50 points KD they should be favored. As currently constructed we can stop this team. I smell a big Siakam series a la Orlando, they really have no one to check him that comes close to Embiid and Giannis, or even Isaac for that matter. Hell, without KD we can hide Kawhi on Green and let him roam on defense and go balls out on offense. We should put Pascal on Curry, he locked up bledsoe so speed shouldn't be a concern. Marc will trap Steph on the PnR and Danny will stick to Klay.

This all change of course if/when KD is back, but man, I like our chances as it is.
