Raps defense looks like the best D GSW has played during their run. Regardless of the outcome, I’m excited for this series to see how they match up.

Wait until Curry and Klay pour some mind boggling offense that will make the Raptors lose control of their defense.
As a Cavs fan, I was always getting angry at how bad the defense against playing against Warriors.
But after watching the Warriors demolished the Portland, now I understand that they can do it to any other teams.

This post must be ironic.
Otherwise you are too stupid to realize how you come across as a total douche while preaching that others don't act in the same manner.

Raps in 7 if KD doesn't come back at all for this series. Warriors in 6 if KD comes back by game 3 at least.

The warriors are 6-0 without KD and 6-4 with him in these playoffs. KD please come back, the raps have a better chance with KD in the lineup!

Yea, that's one of the things I think will be the most interesting about this series. They CANNOT put Kawhi on Curry or Klay, cause he will be exhausted in 20 mins flat. On the other hand Iggy and Klay can at least try to limit Kawhi. We will see tho.
We're more than adept at keeping up with Golden State's off ball shooters because Masai has made sure to sign point guards that are good at fighting through screens. This is an area of defense that has never bothered us about the Warriors throughout the years.
Mm, Curry is the best shooter, ever, Klay is top 5, easily if not top 3. Curry's been averaging 37 points in the past 6 games. We aren't talking about some random dudes. Oh, and Green has been balling out of control and looked incredible in these 6 games as well.
Obviously, anything can happen, but it will be interesting to see how the Raptors guard Steph and Klay.
Isn't Clay a finals choker?

I actually think Toronto having HCA makes a sweep more likely. This first game will be very interesting. I will go with GS in 5.

Re: 2019 NBA Finals Thread, Part 1 | Golden State Warriors vs Toronto Raptors
If the Raptors win it all, would it make for the greatest narrative Ever?
1) A maligned superstar, vilified by the whole league.
2) A team synonymous with choking in the playoffs.
3) Down 2-0 to what some were calling a top 10 team ever.
4) The 'Shot', the bounces....Destiny?
Don't believe in Fate, but it seems like the stars have aligned for the Raptors. The last minute Gasol trade with Charlotte pulling out, The Shot & now going against the Dynasty without their best player and with Home-court. Redemption on so many levels. Almost feels like its meant to be.

Kawhi is better than I thought, the Raps are better than I thought, so hopefully I'm wrong and they pull off the unthinkable here.

Siakam and Blocka will be the deciding factors. If they ca switch onto Curry successfully and slow down Green in transition.

here's a question...who has Draymond ever injured?
The big hack on YOnas's hand this past regular season that put him out for weeks comes to mind..
You mean the one that was by complete accident?
How TF is this a "complete accident?" He recklessly slaps Valanciunas's finger at a rapid speed. You may argue that he didn't do it on purpose (and you'd be right) but still it was a direct result of him being out of control and doing something he shouldn't have done. No bad intention =/= complete accident.

Looney can't do anything within a couple feet of the basket and that's Gasol's area
Siakam will shoot 3's and drive from hoop to hoop
Ibaka has a 3 pt game and a midrange game
both can do more with the ball than Looney can
Looney outplayed Capella. Gasol is great and all, but Looney is mobile. But the games will tell....

Hands getting hit when players reach for steals literally happens every game. Just because you clip video of it and have an agenda, doesnt mean squat. Thousands of games played for both players, and the NBA is an elite frat where NOONE wants others to get injured.
The fact you reach for that out of sour grapes sports hatred is so sad. It really reflects on you and your mental state, you arr over projecting. To suggest what you are suggesting, I recomment counciling and perhaps not even watching sports.

Might start by spelling his name right....it is just above. Your take is equally accurate.

Don't worry Kawhi has big hands of steel. He just doesn't have feet of steel
