We just saw GSW take care of Portland with Draymond basically running the point. I would put Kawhi on Draymond; don't let him initiate any offense, limit his rebounding, help off of him since he is a weak shooter. Curry (and Klay to a lesser degree) would absolutely exhaust Kawhi with their off-the-ball. Moreover, their shooting will not allow Kawhi to be as aggressive helping on defense.

We should try to limit 3PAs by Curry and Klay but not be overly aggressive trying to challenge shots because that will leave our defense vulnerable to all of the Warriors' cutting and off-the-ball movement. Guys will really have to get locked in and be able to guard their own man this series.

I can't get behind the idea that the Warriors are an evil empire. For years DECADES even they were considered a small market (not true) irrelevant franchise. Impeccable drafting and trading and they became one of (if not the) greatest team ever. If not for KD jumping on the bandwagon, THIS franchise is a wonderful story and Stephen Curry is entering GOAT talks. That skinny fool changed the entire narrative here.

IMO Ibaka should start. But with Gasol running the Point, that would open up some good 3s for the others, but he's too slow on defense against this warriors team.

Warriors vs Cavs was fun to watch before KD joined...he ruined everything and turned them into an unlikable team.

Damon Jones bitch ass (the same one that said the magic were going to eliminate us) said on Get Up this morning that he thinks Kawhi will leave win or lose. Also said he and Lebron could be teammates.

I hate how they pick biased “analysts” and pretend like they’re impartial. They’re like Fox News.

Idk that's not really some crazy hot take. I sort of feel the same way. Again there's a difference between wanting it to happen and objectively accepting it may happen. Kawhis decisions have always struck me as being personal ones. Maybe he just wants to be closer to family. Can't blame him for it. As long as he plays his ass off and does whatever he can to win us a championship this season he's free to do what he wants in free agenxy. And if we win it all, regardless if he leaves the trade was still worth it. This was the goal all along.

Warriors play with a much faster pace without Durant than with. It also threw Houston off after Durant went down in their payoff series.

Gasol will struggle mightily against the Warriors. He was horrible for 80% of the Bucks series outside of a game or two. Raptors are going to have to go with small ball or see if Ibaka can start and if they can get away with that. Bucks offense fell off a cliff (and yes Raps defense deserves credit) but Warriors are a completely different animal.

From the RealGM general board, to youtube comments, to social media posts — everything is about how we should enjoy getting swept by the Warriors and how we stand no chance. Where did these haters come from? It’s like people don’t even realize how ecstatic we are to even be in this moment, that just getting to the Finals is a huge achievement, and also the fact that we have been underestimated and overlooked in the Sixers and Bucks series. I can’t believe I’m still seeing many people wishing the Bucks had made it because they would put up a better fight.

We have never been in this position before so it’s really jarring. After all those Craptor years we are so good we’re getting mass hate.

let them talk.

Warriors have the biggest bandwagon fan base in the NBA right now. Every casual sports fan is a lifelong Warriors fan at the moment.

I'm thinking green on curry, kawhi on klay, and pascal on draymond to start the series.
