They've had a very successful history and they are his childhood club and he wants to turn them around and become a manager.

they have police investigations ongoing though don't they?

With their win over Derby in the playoff final, Aston Villa are back in the Premier League. Which means the three promoted teams for next season are Norwich City, Sheffield United and Aston Villa.

Grew up a Villa fan (only watching casually) but was unable to watch them at all when they relegated where i live and some friends got me back in following Chelsea recently. Very happy they promoted, was a very stressful final 20 minutes or so!
